I was totally ripped off by them. They came out, gave me crazy estimates, didn't know what was wrong with the Thermador oven. He was there for about an hour and a half. Quotes were anywhere from $700-$1900, then it went up to $3500 to replace all of these different parts, yet he still couldn't tell me what was wrong with the oven. Then he wrote me a bill for $750 for his time and then left. He turned the oven on to 450, and it would show that it was 450, but then when you open the oven, you could touch the grates. It wasn't getting hot. He said it was the thermostat, then he said it was actually the heating element, then he said it was the wiring. He said if we had to rewire it, it would be $3500, and we would still have to replace the thermostat. Then he said my convection fan was not working. I told him the convection fan didn't start working until it hits 300. He said it should be running all of the time in the convection. So then I had to go get my book and show him that it said the convection fan turns on at 300. He said he had never heard of that before. I just thought that we were done here. It was bad. The only thing positive was that he was on time. I don't feel that he was familiar with the appliance. He had to keep going online and take a look at different things. He said that he had been in the business for 15 years, but yet, he was suppose to be able to work on Thermador appliances, and he had never seen a Thermador professional oven before. He just kept writing things up. The oven is five years old, and he was on his second invoice of things we needed. He was pretty much rebuilding the oven without even knowing what was wrong with it. We called Thermador out they replaced the thermostat for a couple of hundred dollars. He appeared to be professional. I'm sure if it was another brand, he would've been more familiar with it. I would absolutely not use them again.
Description of Work: They came out to attempt to repair a Thermador oven.
