We have been using Collin Heating and Air for 10 years. They are a wonderful family owned company. We have had a unit replaced, insulation blown in, and returns added. Over the last 10 years, they have turned a sub-standard air conditioning system into a situation of pleasantly in this house. I highly recommend them. They are honest people who may be a little more expensive but they treat you well. Thank you.

The Texas sun and heat and plenty of hail had taken their toll. Going on 4 years here from the great state of Minnesota, Colin and his crew from Collin Air have helped us become the most comfortable yet. They were informative, efficient and made the right adjustments that our home needed to keep it cool!

I have used Collin Air Conditioning several times in the past months. The first visit was a minor fix that was performed quickly and for a very reasonable price. The second involved replacing a part on my A/C unit. The third visit was the replacement of my entire system. Every job was well done. The repairmen were courteous and fair. They recommended only what was needed and offered options to help me save money. The work was done quickly, and they cleaned up afterward. I have been very pleased with my dealings with Collin Air Conditioning. They have never over-charged or done unnecessary work. In fact, they have consistently offered the most affordable solutions. I consider myself a regular customer of Collin Air Conditioning now and would not think of calling another service when I need an inspection and/or repair.

I've used Collin Air Conditioning for years.  They are always friendly, professional and only sell me what I need.  They have stopped me from buying more than I needed on a few occasions.  I highly trust and recommend them.  The old unit was removed and the unit was installed in a day.

I was tired of high pressured sales people using sub par equipment. I had used them before so I knew I would get the job properly done at an affordable price. They were professional from the minute I called. When Colin came out he assessed our 37 year old furnace had a crack in the coil and needed to be replaced. We went with a 15 seer unit as it was more efficient and he gave us a great price on the upgrade. They even used a brand that I knew and not some knock off that I had never herd of. They even ran new lines to the outside unit so it would operate at full efficiency! They were a class act from the beginning, covering my carpets and keeping the house clean as they were removing my dinosaur of an old unit. They will stay in my Rolodex to be my first call for any A/C, Heat or insulation needs.

It went fine. I was really impressed by the fact that didn't overcharge me, or sell me something I didn't need. I really appreciate the way they treat their customers, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Our A/C went out one evening. We left a message on their voicemail and got a call-back early the next morning. A repairman came out within a few hours and got us up and running again.

Jimmy was fantastic.  He came on a short notice was very knowledgeable and helpful.  We will definitely be using them again!

Collin Air is great!  We've used them exclusively for several years and bought both air conditioners (upstairs/downstairs units) from them.  Bryan and Collin are courteous, prompt, and do wonderful work.  They also take care of our heaters for us.  An added bonus is that they take great care of my carpet and house when they're installing or servicing the equipment.

Our upstairs furnace (a Carrier unit) was no longer working because the control board had failed. The company that services our downstairs unit (not a Carrier dealer) had advised us that the board was no longer available (it's an older unit) and that our only option was to replace the furnace, at a minimum cost of $2,700. Fortunately, I called Collin Air and was told that the board WAS available, and, at ONE TENTH the cost of replacing the furnace as quoted to us by the company with which we normally do business! Collin replaced the board and performed fall maintenance on the furnace as well. We were very pleased with the work and were very impressed with the technician. Collin Air saved us a bundle. We will be switching to them for future service.

Extremely well. Collin A/C was prompt at setting the appointment, which they were on time. Analyzed the problem and did a very good job of explaining the options along with pros and cons. After selecting the option they did a temporary fix so we would have air for 2 days until they could provide the permanent fix.

I can not say enough good things about Collin Air and heating. We have been using these guys for about 6 years. Collin has replaced both of our Air Conditioning units over the past 6/7 years. We first used Collin Heating and Air when we purchased our first Carrier unit from Sears who did not stand behind the unit when it broke. We called Collin the day before Christmas six years ago - they promptly came out and found that Sears had not installed the unit properly and replaced a loose wire. That began a long relationship with Collin Heating and Air. These guys have been wonderful. They replaced a second unit this past January and when our 1st unit (the one Sears installed) quit in June - Collin found a recall unit and assisted us in getting that one replaced as well.

Jimmy was the Tech; he showed up on time and quickly examined the AC unit for the problem and determined the cooling coil had a leak. He provided a complete quote on the spot for replacing the coil and also pointed out this repair still left me with a 16 year old AC unit. I asked for a complete quote to replace the external unit and the cooling coil and upon deciding to go ahead with the replacement the company quickly scheduled the replacement and completed it with in a day.
I have used this firm before and have had the same outstanding service and fair prices every time.

Called at 8:00 and talked to Heather. Advised her of problem with the fan motor and advised I wanted to have the other two units serviced while they were here. No problem she said and placed me on hold for a moment to check schedule. She came back and stated they could have someone out in a couple of hours (To my surprise!).
They called at 9:50am and said and quot;Jimmyand quot; would be there in 10-15 minutes. Well, they lied here. He was here in actually 5 minutes! He checked the fan motor and had his office call Lennox to verify warranty validity. Yes, of course had an issue with Lennox which I had to call them directly to get that straigtened out. While I did that Jimmy kept on working on the the other units. Jimmy left to get a fan motor and I headed back to work. He called right after I left to verify their fee of $267 for the fan motor repair was fine. Of course not! I want it free! OK...back to reality. Of course I was fine with that on the day we were hitting 103.
Jimmy called about noon when work was complete asked how I wanted to receive the bill. We worked that out easily and I agreed to call Heather at the office with CC info. I came home this afternoon to a fully functioning unit and a cool house! (Jimmy, you left the thermostat on 69 degrees! My wife may want to yell at you about the electric bill.... but I won't. LOL)
Bottom line... these are now my air conditioning folks! Thank you Heather and Jimmy on a great customer experience.
PS.... they only get a B on price as I'm a tight with money. Price was actually reasonable given today's market prices.

Collin did an excellent job. They corrected the improper ductwork I had been living with for 20 years. The new Carrier system is already saving us money on power and the upstairs has never been this comfortable. You really do pay for what you get. These guys are worth every penny.
They also installed two Nest Thermostats. These are wonders themselves. Between these and the new system I think we are saving at least $75 to $100 a month on the power bill.
