 + -1 moreEmployees of Budget Lawn Care dragged their lawn equipment against the front bumper of my vehicle, which they had been asked previously on several occasions not to do. They scratched multiple parts of my front bumper, and the vehicle had just recently been restored with a brand new bumper. The vehicle had not been driven; it simply remained in the driveway. Upon bringing the damage to the attention of Budget Lawn Care, they refused to remedy their damage. I am currently taking legal action. If you care about your personal property, this is definitely NOT the company to hire.

 + -1 moreAfter multiple times of them not coming on scheduled days, and still being charged for those days, I cancelled my account. They continued to say I still owed them for the days that they did not mow. I have disputed this over and over and thought they had finally cleared up my account. I recently tried to get service with another company, Thompson Landscaping, and was declined service with them because they are the sister company to Budget Lawn and Budget Lawn is still reporting that I owe them money.

 + 1 moreThe first mow, the mowers left the gate open with the lock hanging off the side. The following week, the guy out to do the shrubs, but only did the front and ignored the side of the house. After calling, Chad agreed the quote included the side of the house and would send someone out the next week. The guy came out and butchered the ornamental trees into a squarish hedge shape while cutting back more than 6 inches or 1/3 of the tree. The second mow that week was fine. The third mow, they didn't even bother going in the back yard even though the combo had been provided and used by them before. When I called the following morning, the guy taking the call was very indifferent and just said he would let the work crew know. No offer to fix the problem on their end. They showed up when they said they would. The lawn and basic shrubs did look good after they were done. But there were problems with every service, and the rep didn't seem to care.
Description of Work: Lawn service and trimming shrubs / ornamental trees. After purchasing a home, I contacted this service to start bi-weekly yard service and provided the combination to the gate lock. I also requested a quote for trimming the front and side shrubs and ornamental trees. The request specifically mentioned not to take off more than 6 inches of the ornamental tree so it wouldn't be damaged. I verified this three times, and it was written on the quote/work order. The scheduler said they 'never' take more than 6 inches off.

Description of Work: I contacted Budget Lawn Care to mow my lawn, weed, take card of my trees, shrubs and small trees. The gentleman I spoke with said they would come out last tuesday Feb 12 and give me a written estimate. I told him I would be home all day and to havve the estimator knock on my door so I could discuss the estimate with him....The estimator did NOT knock on my door and just left an estimate which was overpriced and inadequately described the services I wanted. I called and spoke to a lady and asked for her to have the guy come back out...which she told me "we don't negotiate prices"....and I told her the way the estimate was written didn't include crepe murtles etc. and it all i wanted was to talk to the estimator...she refused and when I said I would contact Angie's list since that is where I found Budget Lawn Care...she told me she had never heard of Angies List...So I emailed the company and also responded on their website and someone emailed me the written estimate again...no one called or offered to come out etc. .I just looked on my credit card statement and they billed me $26.52 EVEN THOUGH THEY PROVIDED NO SERVICES... I am very disappointed and shocked they billed my credit card even though they didn't come and mow because I told them on Tuesday Feb 12 to cancel my service the day before they were coming to mow. Wednesday Feb 13...Poor customer service and company management in my opinion. I really tried to work with them and they just ignored me totally. Now I must contact my bank for a refund on my credit card...Rediculous...

 + -1 moreThis service showed up every week about the same time. They did the mowing, but they mow so fast, sometimes they would miss spots or if the grass was wet, it would just get pushed down, instead of mowed. Not the best, not the worst, so yes, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Am very pleased with lawn service. They mow and trim everyother week. They are very co-operative and courteous. Very reasonable. Will use them for other projects in the future. In some instances, I forget to unlock my gates and they happily come back out to get the back yard.I've recently moved to another house while still trying to sell my current property. Budget Lawn Care made the transition very easy.I highly recommend.
Description of Work: I've been using Budget Lawn Care for several years and I figured it was about time to put them on Angie's List. They do weekly lawn maintenance for me with includes both cutting and trimming. They also do monthly tree trimming and flower bed maintenance.
