I thought they were fabulous. They wer informative, respectful, and did a fine job.

Initial investigation from the computer said that there was a cylinder problem, and after opening the hood a rabbit jumped out (lucky it was not harmed). Bill's repaired the damaged cable and replaced appropriate parts. The car now operates correctly.

My 2001 GMC Jimmy (with 145,000 miles) would overheat when driven at expressway speeds.
So I located Bill's Radiator and Muffler Service in East Plano, called up on a Friday afternoon, and went for a visit. Gary was extremely helpful in diagnosing the overheating problem, but recommended leaving the car overnight to allow it to cool down for disassembly.
The next morning Gary called to explain that the car had a partially clogged radiator that had reached the end of its useful life, something I had suspected for the six-year-old radiator. He told me what was needed (new radiator, two new hoses, and power flush) and the cost. Repairs were made in time to pick up the car by 1 p.m. and the costs were as quoted.
DO NOT BE PUT OFF by the somewhat scruffy appearance of this facility. These guys know what they're doing (where two other general-service auto shops failed to fix the problem). Also, it's HARD TO FIND but worth the effort!

They give good service and their prices are reasonable. We have been there on several occasions including a radiator change and I also had problems passing the emissions test. I took the car in to see if they could fix something and they replaced a valve. It was still having a lot of problems and they said you have to drive it a good amount of miles and then take it in to the emissions test. I didn't want to drive a whole lot, I am hesitant about going on highways, so the man who is manager of maintanence had an employee put enough miles on my car. He took it to somebody around the corner and got all of the emission tests done for me. We are really pleased with their service. Their prices are reasonable compared to other places.
