Very nicely. Air Today has always provided excellent service. We've used them for over 10 years and have always been very pleased with their punctuality, professionalism and their price. They have never given us bad advice just to earn a buck. We had them out for 2 reasons. First, to inspect our heating system to ensure it was safe to operate. We bought their yearly inspection program which covers us for 2 inspections per year at $278. This also entitles us to certain discounts. Secondly, we had a roof installation coming and I was worried about the location of our ducts being so close to the roof. We had our ducts inspected by another company and they estimated we needed about $8,000 worth of duct work done. After Air Today looked over the system and inspected our ducts, they told us that there was nothing wrong, that all ducts were operating just fine. I also requested Air Today to tell me if any of my ducts needed rerouting for either air flow, or for the roof installation. Air Today said that nothing was needed and that they would do it if I insisted, but they didn't see a need, that the ducts were operating just fine and had great air flow. And finally, I asked for an estimate to install an additional duct in one of our bedrooms. He explained the cost to do that, and we found it very reasonable (a few hundred). We will do that when it's more convenient for our wallet.

HAD TO REPLACE AC UNIT OUTSIDE CONDENSER/COMPRESSOR AND INSIDE COILS. WORKING FINE NOW. TOO BAD COULD NOT REPLACE/RECHARGE WOULD HAVE SAVED ME A COUPLE GRAND.

Terrible! The technician came out and serviced my system and he notified me that he needed to add 1.5 pounds of Freon. After a couple of days the unit wasn't keeping up with the temperatures again. I called them back out and the 2nd technician informed me that he found a leak in the coil in the attic. The fee was to be an additional $1807 plus Freon to get it running properly again for a total of around $3K. I had scheduled A/T out to complete this work, and the morning the technician was to arrive, I questioned the warranty, and after a disagreement, (I was very frustrated based on previous experience with A/T), they decided not to perform the work. I contacted another company to come out and I asked that they perform a diagnostic to determine what, if anything, the problem with my system was- already feeling I knew the coil needed to be replaced. The new company performed a pressure and vacuum test and found the system had no leaks. Final determination was the system was 7 pounds low on Freon! I don't know where my Freon went to, but I know I would've spent $3K plus for a part that didn't need to be replaced! Good luck to anyone that would use Air Today and if you do- get a second opinion on high dollar repairs!

One of the owners names is Aimee Carson Butts. I was expecting it to be a humongous expense. They could have told me the whole unit was going out because it was banging and the fan was clanging and it was keeping us up all night. It was an old thing. This husband and wife run this company and they are very generous with their expertise and their advice for people that are having problems on how to fix it inexpensively or what to do to prevent it. They really are a company that will come out in the middle of the night. They will come immediately when you have a problem. They are very honest and fair. We were leasing our house when I called them about that repair. Another unit in the other house went out and I got them to come out and give the landlord an estimate. He has his own people but their estimate was right there if not a little less. I'm sure if I called another company it would have been a couple thousand dollars. When you call they are the nicest people. When anyone calls and asks if I have a recommendation for heating and air I said oh yes I do. They are top notch. They came out almost immediately. In that business they can get away with a lot with an old unit and they just told me exactly what was going on and it worked beautifully after that. They are easy to work with and when you call they act like you are the most important person in the world and that is rare.

I called based on a reference. Iris picked up and quickly put me on the schedule for that day. Before I hung up, she noted that if I was available earlier, she could move me up. I said, "move me up." Cody arrived, early - nice, and listened to my problem. He was in the attic 2 minutes and came down with the problem completely fixed. He laughed and said that he had installed the units a year or so ago. The house owner at the time asked him to install a damper, at the actual furnace, for the three rooms. She was hot in the winter and cold in the summer. Who would have guessed! I appreciated his honesty and from talking to him the company owners value honesty as well. He could have spun a tale of woe and I would not have known the difference. I will do business with them again, for sure.

It went great! The fellows (Cody and John) showed up right on time and did a great job of checking out the unit. They also changed the filter and confirmed I had installed a new thermostat correctly and even corrected a mistake I had made in the wiring. I was most pleased with their work and will always turn to Air Today first for heating and air conditioning service.

Kevin the tech is always punctual, very knowledgeable and patient with all of our "picky" request. Air Today has serviced our A/C and heating units for about 6 years. We have been able to depend on them each time. The staff is very attentive to our needs and always willing to work with us , especially Nicole. Highly recommend company.

Had noise coming from A/C unit and scheduled tune-up through my home warranty. Company assigned Air Today to complete the tune-up in April. By early June, noise came back and louder. Called Air Today to see if they would come back out to guarantee their work. However, due to being over a little over a month since they did the tune-up, I was advised that it would cost an additional service fee to come do a check-up. Decided to use another company to check out the a/c unit.

They are excellent. They take time off and double check on electronic parts on it and the filters just make sure everything is functioning on and still come twice a year in the fall and in the spring.

I was very happy with the service performed by Air Today on my A/C Unit.  
I called and requested an inspection of the A/C unit after it started acting 
intermittently.  Several times the A/C unit shutoff for extended periods
allowing the temperature to rise far above the high thermostat setting.  
The Air Today technician Kevin was very professional and was able to
diagnose the problem quickly which was caused by a faulty thermostat.  
He replaced the old thermostat with a new programmable thermostat
and then did a complete inspection of the A/C unit.   The price for the
work done was reasonable.   I was very happy to get the problem
resolved quickly the same day I called Air Today.  Its not good to be 
without A/C in Dallas in August.  Would recommend Air Today to others.

Air Today has been our HVAC maintenance provider for just over 1 year now, and we did not hesitate to renew our service contract for the second year.  Recently we experienced a system failure and called Air Today at 7pm on a Thursday evening.  Our requested service technician was at our front door before Noon on Friday as promised when they returned our message early Friday morning. 

Air Today initially diagnosed our 10-12 yr old A/C system with a blown transformer and main board, which had been caused by an electrical short that occurred when a expansion foam was sprayed into the exterior wall opening where the electrical and cooling lines enter the home.  Apparently the wires were frayed prior to when a non-HVAC contractor had administered the foam. 

As indicated above, Air Today performed the initial diagnostics on a Friday.  Surprisingly the technicians (two gentlemen new to us but handpicked by our preferred technician) were able to come out on Saturday to perform the repairs.  However...one thing lead to another so long story short... we decided to replace the entire system rather than invest in a less than efficient, failing system. 

Air Today was able to rearrange their scheduling and leverage their supplier relationship to the point where they arrived shortly after 10AM on Monday morning ready to install the new system.  The 3-man crew had the top tier system up and running before they left later that evening as promised. 

The crew was professional and kept the work area clean, which we have come to expect with Air Today.  The lead installer took the time to thoroughly answer all questions, explain all features (including all of the functionality of the wi-fi thermostat), and provide additional tips toward a more energy efficient home. 

I highly recommend Air Today for their performance as a service contractor.  Their pricing is competitive, but more important is their responsiveness and overall customer focus.
