It went very well. I had attended Mike Raitt's Retirement seminar in August which was very informative, and it spoke to my growing concerns about minimizing my taxes as I get closer to taking RMD's in a few years. He provided a comprehensive assessment in several one-on-one meetings concerning my investments, and my overall financial situation. I will be following the plan that he set out for me, and would not hesitate to use his services in the future.

Everything went great, prompt service and communication. They made the process go very smoothly with my new home purchase. I was able to lock in a great rate on top of everything. :-)

Excellent.....Responded immediately, follow-through, almost all processes completed via e-mail. We could not have asked for any better service. Staff very professional and swift at the same time. Highly recommend.

Brandon & Meagan at Almega were rock stars in helping me with my mortgage. Transparent, responsive, & caring. When we ran into a problem with the lender in the 11th hour before closing, Brandon was relentless in getting the issue solved. Very happy!

It went as horribly as it could have gone. We were just trying to obtain some solid numbers regarding closing costs, as they kept creeping up and up and up.  Read this email thread.  It goes backwards in time. Nothing I say could possibly cast a darker shadow on this company than the following:

THIS WAS MIKE RAITTS' RESPONSE WHEN WE TOLD HIM THAT THE 'KISS MY A**' EMAIL WOULD BE COPIED AND PASTED ONTO ANGIE'S LIST:

Whatever dude. Post away!
Of course I?m sure you won?t post the jab you made at me regarding my payroll processing. You don?t have the courage to be completely honest. I?m sure you?ll only post my comments so that it can be taken out of context. My comments were in response to you attacking me personally. You were the one who brought it to a personal level and I can guarantee you won?t post that or any of the whining you?ve done throughout this whole dreadful process. If you?re going to post my comments, then why don?t post everything? Anything short of that would be cowardice.

Come on [member name removed], be a man and post everything. Are you going to post all the requirements that the Lender made of you? Or are you just going to make it sound like my office was the one responsible for all your problems? The truth is; my office had nothing to do with all the requirements. We only relay what the lender wants. If you don?t give them what they want, they won?t close the loan. How is that our fault? It?s not of course but you?ll post the one comment I made and not give the full story. It?s coward.

Anyway? it?s all good now because you?ve made the decision to stop this loan and that?s more than fine by me and of course my staff will be elated. You have been a gigantic drain emotionally on my office. You have wasted countless hours of our time that we could have been spending on other files that deserved our attention. The only mistake I made was not learning from the first time we tried to do your loan earlier this year. Meagan warned me about your whining the last time but I didn?t listen. I decided to give you another chance. But once again, you couldn?t even respond to very clear instructions countless times and whenever you did it was usually many days delayed. Meagan intentionally spelled each item out for you in emails because she was getting tired of you not giving her what she needed but you couldn?t follow instructions. It was really unbelievable and something we kept shaking our heads about.

So, in the end, you are getting what you have brought on yourself. If you would have given us exactly what we asked for when we asked for it instead of complaining and whining and delaying, you would have been closed by now and with little to no extension fees. And if there still were some extension fees, I probably would have covered some if not all of it like I do for many of my clients. And to top it all off, at one point you made some comment to Meagan that you have cancer (which I don?t doubt) and that she was personally causing you a bunch of anxiety by not getting the loan closed. That?s really low to put that baggage on her. That?s actually pretty pathetic. She didn?t deserve that comment and once again show?s your true colors. I suppose you won?t post that comment either, will you?

Kiss my a** [member name removed]. You are completely clueless. I really don?t care if you walk away from this loan. Actually, my whole staff including me would love it if you do. But, that will be your decision and I will not be the cause of you not closing this loan.

[member name removed]?. Quit bugging me about this. I?ve already received 1 or 2 other emails about this from you and I will respond here shortly after I?ve had a chance to tie up some other things in my office like payroll for my employees who want to go home a little early today. The day is not over and you will have you answer by the end of the day.
