Not sure why they had 5 stars review, but All About Water Heaters is by far the worst company I dealt with. Service tech came out, did not bring a solder, and I had to provide him with my own supply, then replaced my water circulator with a wrong sized pump. Contacted the owner, promised to come out and take care of the issue, a week went by, claimed he was not able to get the replacement pump since it was discontinued, and he needed some time to find replacement. Sent him a link to Home Depot website where he could get one, and another week later, he stopped answering phone calls, or texts. I am definitely going for a lawsuit, will keep y'all updated. Do not waste your time, look somewhere else!!

Our water heater broke on a Saturday. Al and his team did an excellent job for replacing the water heater in a timely manner. Al immediately advised me the method to drain the broken water heater properly to limit the water damage to the interior during the phone call. Although they were very busy, they still promised and later came to do the work in the evening of a Saturday. His team was very professional, efficient and did a very good and clean job. We will recommend this company to our friends and colleagues.

Al Ohler did a great job, particularly since the water heaters were in the attic and the outside air temperature was over 100 degrees. He was very, very responsive and the communication was really good. He also explained many available options for the installation so that we could make an informed decision before proceeding.

Arrived on time, disconnected old water heater, installed new water (including all connections, shut-offs and vents at no additional cost), and did a thorough clean-up. Overall, service was "super".

Al was out on a job but returned my call quickly and, after pricing the job, recommended I compare it with others before making a decision. That's a rare thing! Although my job wasn't an emergency, DFW had had a run of temps below 20F and he offered to see if one of his crew could come after hours (accommodating my work hours) so I didn't have to go another day without hot water. We settled on the following day, everything was installed quickly and cleanly, and there were no surprises with the charges--except that they were lower than they could have been. I hope I don't need Al's services again for a long time, but if I do, I'll call him first and recommend anyone else to do the same whatever their water heater needs are!

I have used 'All About Heaters' for plumbing repairs on two different occasions. The owner, Al Ohler, communicated thoroughly up front to make sure the job, pricing and scheduling were well understood. Pricing was very reasonable and all work was expertly done.

I smelled gas near my water heater and called All about Water Heaters. Jason was dispatched over to my house within an hour on a Saturday. He looked over the connections and determine what parts/adjustments were needed and fixed the gas connection to the water heater. Troubleshooting and repair was completed in less than 20 minutes. Jason did a great job and answered all my questions.

I was referred to All About Water Heaters when another plumbing company I previously used did not have available technicians to replace my water heater. The price Al, the owner, quoted me was several hundred dollars less than estimates received from other companies. While the warranty of the water heater may not be as long as other inquiries, it is sufficient for my needs. All of this happened on August 31 which was in the middle of the "Harvey gas shortage" panic. The technician was delayed in getting to my house but Al stayed in contact with me the entire time. In the end, Al actually brought the technician, Jason, to my house to ensure I would get service that day. Jason was professional and efficient in replacing my water heater. Later that evening, Al contacted me to ensure everything was working correctly and that the setting was providing sufficient hot water. The one small negative about the experience was that I waited over an hour for the initial call back. Thankfully Al called me back with his estimate in time for me to cancel the other plumbing company I had scheduled to fix my problem. Overall the experience was positive and I would recommend them to others.

Al and his team did a great job! Al called me back super quick to schedule the job and continuously communicated with me throughout the process. He took his time explaining our new heaters and thoroughly inspected the finished job. He has been following up to make sure all is well. They really care about their customers and it shows. Would use them again for future work. Love supporting the small businesses, especially ones with such great customer service!

Al from All About Water Heaters is one of the most professional honest guys I have met. Immediately I got a good vibe from him when I talked to him on the phone. He showed up on time and gave me an honest quote. He even saved me a lot of money. The first plumber from BBB plumbing totally lied to me about the water heaters warranty but Al looked into it and found out they were still under warranty. First Al tried to help me over the phone since he was booked solid and knew I needed my hot water. I was almost a basket case. When that didn't work he came to my house and replaced a part under warranty, which I wouldn't have known, if he hadn't informed me. Several days later he had to come back and found there was another part that needed to be replaced but wouldn't charge me for the second trip! And on a Saturday! By the time the water heater was working properly he had spent so much time on the phone with the manufacturer, arguing on my behalf, that his pay was almost minimum wage! Thank You, AL!!!

Initially, Al tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone: it was not obvious to me what the problem was given how the situation presented itself over the course of about 24 hours. He was able to determine that the WAGS valve had shut down the HW system and, because there was water in the pan, that the HW Heater needed to be replaced. So, we made an appointment for him to come out on Tuesday, 3 Jan 2017 to replace the HW Heater but before we hung up, he made sure I understood how to drain my HW heater so that the remaining water would not cause any damage. He came out as scheduled on 3 Jan and he replaced the current HW heater with a new one without causing any damage to our wood floor, which we had just installed a month ago. Instead of a WAGS valve, he replaced it with a stop-flow solenoid valve that can be used multiple times: the WAGS valve, though it did its job to stop the flow of water into the HW Heater once the leak was detected, can only be used once and is attached to the copper pipe bringing water into the HW Heater. With this solenoid valve, should there be another leak, I don't have to replace the device that stops the flow of water into the HW Heater. Before he left, he made sure I understood how to reset the device should it go off. It was great to have Al here to do the work and I unequivocally recommend him to you to replace your HW Heater.

Al discussed the process and timeline for the job. The next morning he arrived on time and ready to get the job done. While he ran into an issue of getting this monster water heater out of a small closet in my garage we joked through the whole things and everything worked out fine. I appreciated his attention to detail and commitment to finishing on time for me to continue my day. I would recommend him to anyone looking to fix or replace a water heater.

I was pleased with the service provided by 'All about Water Heaters'. The owner, Al, adjusted his schedule to allow his assistant to make it later the same day that I called. Another plumber I had called was not going to be able show up until next day. The assistant arrived on time at 1 pm and had it installed in about an hour. Everything went smoothly, he cleaned up and hauled old one away. And the price was lower than the other plumber I contacted. I would recommend this company anytime you need a water heater replaced.
