Affordable Fencing Plano

We had a subpar experience with Affordable Fencing Plano. We signed a contract on 3/7. A few emails were exchanged between then and when the work started, but we were never given a concrete start date. We were asked if we wanted a permit pulled for the work, which as far as I know is required by the City of Murphy. I verified that I would like a permit pulled and was eventually told they could begin on 4/2. Then I got an email saying that the paper work for the permit would take a few days to process and they had to wait to start. To my surprise, I got home from work on 4/2 and a fence crew had been there all day working. This wasn’t a big deal, but it would have been nice to have more clear communication so I could have taken steps to ensure my dog was properly taken care of. Once work began, I figured the job would only take a few days, and it likely would have had the crew actually showed up to work every day. But it was anyone’s guess whether or not the crew would actually be there working on any given day. There was never any communication letting me know if they would be there or not. When the crew was there working a lot of time was spent talking and goofing around and not a lot of time working. They had to bring in a new crew at one point because apparently, they had overbooked. I take this to mean they hired a subcontractor to do the work though my approval was not really requested for this. The fence was finally finished but then they ran out of stain which caused another day delay. All in all, the fence was not complete until two weeks later. Pretty annoying when you have dog that you would like to be able to use the backyard. The final, really irritating issue is that barely a month and half later, a large section of the fence is leaning quite badly. I have been trying to get some communication and commitments from the company to resolve this issue. It has been over a month since I informed them of the leaning fence and still no action has been taken. If they ever do end up fixing it, I will update this review accordingly.
