I liked this guy.  He was recommended by my old insurance agent who said he was a straight shooter as they say.  I had some shingles ripped off that he replaced.   I talked to him a bit about the roof in general, which he inspected while he was up there; he advised that the roof was old but was not hail damaged enough to justify an insurance claim.   I like the fact that he didn't try to sell me a new roof (paid for by insurance) as so many of those other roofers knocking on my door have done, after inspecting the roof from the front seat of their truck...   Anyway, he struck me as an honest  guy and I will definitely call him when I need a new roof or further repairs.

On my first call to Aegis, I left a message which was quickly returned.  Brett call and we set up an appointment for him to look at the work.  I told him up front that it was a small job, and he assured me that no job was to small.  Brett came out within a few days, and got measurements.  He was very polite and considerate in not wanting to track throughout the house to get to the back.  He had been out while it was raining.  He called me later that day with an estimate and was given the go ahead.  The work was scheduled for 3 days later.  Before they could come out, we revised the work we wanted and I called Brett.  He came out that day and took new measurements.  Within a week, the guttering was installed, just in time for the latest onslaught of rain. I later learned from Brett that due to all the recent storm damage, the gutter color that we needed to match the existing, was high demand and backordered.  However, he had enough short pieces in stock to work our order.  And since I had told him that we were a high priority storm job and that he could work it at a best available date, Brett was able to squeeze the job in one evening.  The whole process took about two weeks.  I now have guttering which feeds to one water barrel and additional guttering which feeds to a future water barrel.  And Brett gave me a nice Angie's List discount !
