As animal lovers with a squirrel problem, we were so relieved to find A Wildlife Pro DFW to remove the animal humanely. Carl did a very thorough job. He started with using pheromones to encourage the squirrel to leave of her own accord. When she resisted this approach, he returned with a one way door to keep her out when she emerged to forage. The squirrel was very upset at this eviction and kept trying to get back in. Wildlife Pro reassured us this was normal and she did give up after a couple of days and has since left the garden. Carl then sealed the hole where she had accessed the house by the AC unit. While he was here, he also fixed another issue. A vent cover had fallen off from high up on our wall, and birds were congregating in there. He was able to use his tall ladder to go up and put back the cover. A Wildlife Pro are highly professional and animal care oriented. We would use them again and recommend them to others.

Excellent. Metal flashing installed in every area around roof to block access. They used a one-way door to allow squirrels to leave but not return. Flashing was painted to match existing house trim. About 4 ours to install. Another 4 hours to finish up a couple days later.

Overall, an excellent job! We had a possum stuck in our ceiling and die. We were unable to locate it, so we called Wildlife Pro. Matt and his team were able to locate it and remove it successfully. They were extremely professional and handled all our needs.

We had squirrels in our previous home, and so Matt and team did a great job then so we asked them to come out to our new home again. Went well ... all work completed in two trips. Matt, Carl and Katherine are very professional and did a great job sticking to schedule.

Less than 30 minutes to extract. After quick search under house, able to locate from garage access. Only negative was not having industrial deodorizer on hand to mask scent.

Kat and Matt went over and above. Friendly and professional. I contacted them Saturday morning and received a quick response. We emailed back and forth about the problem. Kat and Matt came to our house Saturday night to do a raccoon stakeout. They were not able to grab the raccoons so they set traps. The raccoons have been trapped and hopefully our problem is solved. I used to have anxiety about these types of situations, but now that I know we can call A Wildlife Pro there is no need to worry.

Matt from A Wildlife Pro DFW is outstanding!  He responded to my message in a matter of minutes; he was very warm, knowledgable, and professional.  I found him to be completely charming when we met in person the next day.

Matt very patiently assessed and evaluated the situation and explained himself in crystal clear language.  He answered all of my questions, entertained my fascinated 7 year old, and calmed my fretful wife.  He is teeming with confidence and know his stuff.  He came up with a totally reasonable plan of action and made us feel very comfortable.

He also did a slow walk-around the house to identify any places where squirrels and rats could potentially enter the house - something we hadn't thought about doing but appreciated his advice.  It did not come off as a sales pitch to do unnecessary work.

He clearly explained what the potential problems were, pointed out the gaps where animals could get in, and presented a very reasonable plan of action to make the small repairs.

A few days later he baited and set the fox traps for us.  When they trapped opossums and skunks he came over to remove them.  Three days later, two grey foxes were trapped.  He promptly came over and explained where they would be relocated and what their eventual fate would be: a better life outdoors, away from city life, in the country in East Texas.

The next week he did a great job of filling in all of the places where animals could get in the house; he patched up and painted over everything so it looked as good as new.

We were completely satisfied with his work and have since recommended A Wildlife Pro DFW to others.

About a year later, we called with a question about paw prints we found on our fence.  Kat (Katherine) helped us figure it out.  We sent her pics; she analyzed them and assured us it was just a house cat, not a bobcat.  She forwarded us a wild life paw print guide to help us identify any prints we saw in the future.  She was very knowledgable, helpful, and reassuring.  And she did it all for free -- several phone conversations, pictures, and email communications just to help out a customer.  It was really remarkable.  This review is the least I can do to show my appreciation for their service!

Matt is very thorough and looks to resolve the underlying cause of the animal issues you are having.   With my most current issue, he looked for the source of entry by following the water into the house as that is what rat's typically follow.  He could've just trapped the rats and been done with it, but he does not tackle a job that way.

When he was working to trap my armadillo, he tried 3 different positions for the trap until it was caught.  He came out promptly to remove it the same day I called.  They also came out and filled the hole afterward, and checked to ensure no additional burrowing needed to be filled.

With the squirrels, he put one way doors in so that they could not get back in and then later sealed them up. In general, I would recommend Matt to anyone experiencing an issue with a varmint.  He is thorough and he strives to ensure the animals are not harmed, but your property is protected.   I will continue to use this company for all of my wildlife issues.

"A Wildlife Pro" (AWP) is professionally run by a team that are very knowledgeable in trapping wildlife. I used them last year and they were able to capture an armadillo that was damaging my front yard and flowerbeds. Then last December, I was having similar type of damage in my backyard; they were able to tell by the damage that it was most likely not an armadillo, but a skunk. They set the trap with bait for a skunk and captured it.

This year, I had more damage in my front yard, and they were able to capture 3 armadillos, one that was particularly large that was most likely doing the most damage and was being a little difficult to trap. In this process, they set up some guide rails to guide the armadillo in the trap, and used a very strong, reinforced trap; this proved successful in capturing this 3rd armadillo.

AWP periodically followed up as armadillos were being trapped, making sure that the damage had finally been eliminated.

The cost of service also included relocating a opossum that had wandered into the trap, for a total cost of 4 relocations.

I would recommend AWP and plan to use them again if the need arises.

I submitted an inquiry on their website and was contacted by Katherine that same day. She and I set up an appointment that was flexible to my own schedule. Matt was very timely for my appointment. I had contacted them with a specific problem, a bird's nest in my exhaust vent. Matt came out and got right to work. He's very polite and professional. He checked the vent first to ensure there were no current residents and no eggs. Then he cleaned everything out and then installed a cover over the vent to prevent any other feathery friends from moving in. I was very pleased with the work and the amount quoted/paid. He's very no-nonsense about his job, but also caring and humane for the animals he's called out to remove. I will definitely be calling him again if the need arises.

We found A Wildlife Pro by way of a link on the website AA Animal Control.com as a recommended local source in Plano.  After reading all the excellent reviews on Angie's, I called the owner, Matt Evans, and left a voice message.  Within five minutes, Matt returned my call.  He explained in detail the process for our problem and gave me a ballpark cost for normal jobs of this type.  Matt was very friendly and informative.  I liked what he said so we decided to schedule an appointment.  At Matt's instructions, I emailed Katherine, the office manager, with my information and to request an appointment.  She emailed me back in less than 30 minutes to get an idea of my availability.  She sent out Carl the next morning.  He inspected the outside of our house, explained what holes needed to be sealed, and gave us the cost.  We agreed, and Carl immediately sealed all outside openings where rodents could get in and then set traps in the attic.  Carl returned in five days to check the traps and found three dead juvenile rats.  Since I had still heard something running around a few hours before he arrived to check the traps, Carl reset them and returned in four days to recheck the traps.  Nothing was in the traps, and I have not heard anymore sounds.  To be on the safe side, Carl said he would return again in a few days to recheck the traps, but he felt all the rodents were gone.  A Wildlife Pro did a wonderful job, and their customer service is outstanding.  Matt's and Katherine's quick replies to my initial inquiries were very much appreciated as I was very uncomfortable knowing animals were in the attic, and my sleep was being disturbed by the noise.  Katherine maintained excellent email contact with me about all follow-up appointments and also supplied more explanations about what to expect during this process which greatly reassured me.  Carl was always exactly on time as promised, was very friendly and professional, did an excellent job of sealing the outside of the house, and reassured me the problem would be easily resolved.  I highly recommend A Wildlife Pro for anyone with unwanted wildlife problems.  We will definitely call them again.  I just hope we won't have this problem again and feel very sure we won't with the excellent sealing of the outside of the house.  Thanks to A Wildlife Pro I can now get a good night's sleep.

I could not imagine that I could have been taken care of any better at any price. I didn't mention it but these repairs came with a lifetime warranty against re-entry at the point of repair. What else could I ask for?

We had been hearing scratching noises in an inaccessible area of a ceiling for about 10 days, which was confirmed to be a raccoon when I came face to face with it while collecting the mail one evening. I watched it climb back in through a roof vent and immediately ran back inside in panic, turning to google (not a good decision with the benefit of hindsight) to read horror stories about what could be going on. Needless to say, panic increased and then I made the sensible decision to try finding a professional to deal with this. I was SO happy to find A Wildlife Pro. First of all Matt responded to my email within 20 minutes, and immediately helped calm my fears. Bear in mind this was at about 9pm at night and he was still contactable and responded to all my emails and questions, promising he would come out the next day. He was good to his word and was out at my house in the morning. Again, he calmed my fears which was very very impressive given he could easily have preyed on the fears instead, and made a lot more money that way! Instead he took a very pragmatic approach to dealing with the problem, not trying to sell me anything that was unnecessary, but coming up with a way of dealing with the critter that absolutely worked. Within 2 days the raccoon had moved (herself and her babies!) to another den. Matt then returned to seal up all the areas I requested to make them completely wildlife proof, even providing a guarantee that we will have no further problems of any wildlife accessing those areas. I really liked his process of identifying the problem areas, and providing me with a full list of options, some of which were necessary to deal with our immediate critter, and others which could be a risk in the future, but weren't currently leading to wildlife issues. It was then up to me to pick what we wanted to do, and what we didn't want to do. In the end I chose to have all 6 of the roof vents completely sealed, and I wanted the area where the raccoon den had been fogged with a sanitizing spray, just for peace of mind. Matt is fantastic to work with - he is so easy to get hold of, he welcomes lots of updates which I was very happy to give, and certainly didn't try to oversell anything. Plus, I love that he stands behind his work. I would strongly recommend Matt at A Wildlife Pro. Great, honest guy.
