24 Hour Fitness

It's a brand new facility. They just renovated the whole gym, so everything is brand new and shiny.

Sign up was easy, no pressure. I've been going for a few months now. The staff is always very friendly. All the equipment is relatively new, and everything is kept very clean, sanitized, and in working order. The private bathrooms are nice, clean.

It's a no-frills membership, which is what I want. I can use any location and the childcare service. Recently the finger scanners were implemented which means I don't have to carry the card. Most times it's not super busy, but the child-care can have a wait prior/during popular classes. The equipment is standard, and the memberships are reasonably priced. I don't take showers there but most gyms aren't espcially inviting as far as the shower area. It's not dirty per se, but just not something I want to use. My only complaint is that the classes are scheduled at odd times, and sometimes get moved to even more inconvenient times for working adults.

I always have a nice overall experience and this location always has very helpful staff. good machine and free weight options. clean environment.

Excellent fitness center! It is not the biggest facility, but it has everything you would normally want/need to get in a good workout. Plus, you have access to all of the other 24 hour fitness centers included with your membership.

Having been a member for more than 3 years, I've seen this location at Park and Ohio in Plano deteriorate in both staff support, cleanliness, and equipment. The staff spends more time visiting with each other and doing meaningless tasks like restacking the supplements. Most of the time TVs are in the fritz, the audio doesn't work on the treadmills or the equipment is out of service. Not to mention that the place is filthy, the pool needs to be treated and the lockers in locker rooms are covered in rust. I kept thinking that this state was temporary, but have watched the degredation over a period of several months. Great location, but can't overcome the place is unhealthy.

I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for years. I really like that the facility has lots of equipment and a pool / hot tub. I also feel that it is a very reasonable club (or multi-club membership). Those are the pluses. On the negative side, at least this facility is not truly 24x7 ... so I'd recommend checking each individual club's hours. Also, the men's locker room needs all sorts of repairs. There are frequent problems with the hot-water heater and the lockers are all rusting. Again, I like this facility and think it's fine (especially for the price), but it is not a top-of-the-line place to workout.

They have different classes for free. They also have trainers there and there are deals available. It is a good gym as far as I can tell and I would say get the best deal on membership prices.

The location is convenient for me. The equipment is well maintained and they have a good variety and number of machines. My only complaint with them is that it's sometimes difficult to complete the circuit training in a timely manner. The customer service is adequate. I've been a member for 8 or 9 years.

MINIMAL ORIENTATION; WANTED EXTRA MONEY FOR GUIDANCE/HELP IN PROGRAM.

well, hopefully they maintain the temperature AS IT SHOULD AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!! without us and other members to "scream" @ the front desk..............

Great gym, I went there when I was a member of 24 hours then returned recently and I am still here. I pay a good price, about 25$ a month, hours are good if the location is nearby A+++ for you.

OUR SALESMAN WAS A REALLY NICE GUY. WE THOUGHT WE WERE GETTING INTO A GREAT PROGRAM THAT WOULD OFFER US AN APPOINTMENT WITH A TRAINER TO GO OVER THE USAGE OF THE EQUIPMENT. ENDS UP, THE TRAINER DID A FEW MEASUREMENTS AND THEN INSISTED THAT WE PAY IN ORDER TO GET A LESSON ON THE EQUIPMENT. WE WERE TOLD ONE THING, CLEARLY, AND THEN AFTER WE SIGNED AND PAID, IT WAS ANOTHER STORY. THE CHILDCARE AT THE FACILITY WAS ALSO SCARY. THE EMPLOYEES FREQUENTLY KEPT THEIR BACKS TO THE KIDS AND LEFT BABIES TO CRY. I REGISTERED A COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGEMENT ABOUT THE CHILDCARE ISSUE AND IT DID IMPROVE SOMEWHAT.
