RIVER CITY POOL SERVICE

I was overall satisfied with my experiences with River City Pool Service. The prices are a little high for the repairs they made. I will use them in the future.

The service I received, even from a company that I worked with for a year and a half, was not good. Whenever anything on my pool or spa needs to be fixed it takes forever and I get it back it is at about 70% working order and it costs a fortune. You cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone you have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. Recently I had algae in my pool  for two weeks and nothing was done about it until I called. The bottom of my pool is always dirty, they have fixed my vacuum twice now it is broken again, so they don' t take the time to vacuum the pool because they can't seem to fix mine. I am very disappointed in this company. 

River City sent us a mail flier. We called and asked for a bid. They said to clean our pool to a pristine condition would take 2 cleanings. We agreed to pay $200. Then there would be a monthly fee of $175. They came to the first cleaning and said they would not be back unless we paid the whole $200. We did and they never came back.

Phil Sharp, the owner of River City Pool Service, was totally responsible for the entire job. He was on the job site every day personally supervising his staff and did most of the plumbing and electrical work himself. He and his employees were friendly and polite but professional. They got the job done on time and within budget. The spa and deck they provided is both functional and beautiful. Their work had a 1 year warranty during which time I had them out twice on minor things which were corrected immediately and at no additional charge. I feel their work was very reasonably priced and have been very happy with the entire experience.
