This was the 3rd time we've had Kirk come in to do work in our home. Initially, he painted the entire interior. As I find things that need repair or just sprucing up, he gets us scheduled quickly and does the work efficiently. He's even spotted things that needed repair or could be improved and pointed them out. There's never any pressure to do everything all at once, he's willing to work around your schedule and other needs. I will be calling him again!

I am very pleased with how the project turned out.  I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and he made it happen.  He added 240 sq feet of kitchen and dining room to my home and I love it.  He always showed up when he said he would and he accommodated all my special requests.  As the general contractor, he was able to coordinate well with the sub-contractors (electrical, plumbing, and mechanical) to make sure we passed all the inspections.  He perfectly matched the interior and exterior siding so that you can't tell there was an addition.  He did a great job on the foundation, framing, tiling, back splash, cabinets, window and door installation, siding, painting, roofing, etc. I would not hesitate to hire him again for anything I need done around the house.  He can do it all.

He did a good job supporting the deck. He put in cement support and did an excellent job.
When he did the screening, there were holes all over the screening. All he did was put the screen up, he didn't put any trim or sealing so the bugs were still able to get in. I called and told him about the holes. He came back and he drew it out from October to the end of January. He claimed it was because of the holidays but it was not. He would not respond to texts or calls from me. He wanted to come when he wanted to. He would work on a little bit and then disappear for weeks. After I threatened to report him on Angie's List, he finally came and finished the job.

Kirk showed up on time for the bid. I liked him right away. He has an honest demeanor about him and is easy to get along with. I live in a gated community, have a half million dollar house, a Z3 and a Lexus. Some contractors bid really, really high because they immediately think I'm rich and doubled the many bids I got. I have been trying to get this job done for about 9 months. I heard every excuse in the book. I had to set many appointments from MANY contractors for bids. After I accepted them with a hand shake, they did not show up. I bent over backwards and re-scheduled several times they never showed up after many promises. So I joined Angie's List. I called two and accepted Kirks. Kirk always kept in touch an informed me of what's going on. Kirk stuck to his bid, promise, and got the job done on time. He is easy to talk to and get along with. By- the-way, he did an OUTSTANDING JOB. I was so pleased I gave him a big fat tip. I will use Kirk from now on. Home owner Steve

I first hired Kirk Kirkevold to add a railing to my existing desk.  In addition to replacing the railing, he also added two stairs on either side of the deck. He did a such a great job on the deck, I hired him to fix up my old 70's style bathroom.  It now looks like a designer bathroom.  In fact, the first time my mom came over she said, "Wow, this looks like something from an architectural design magazine."  He removed the old vinyl flooring and replaced it with tile.  He added a new contemporary vanity along with sleek new lighting.  Best of all, though, he created an amazing work of art with my shower.  The tile work and frameless glass enclosure look stunning.  

He always showed up as scheduled and he finished the jobs on time.  He was willing to make adjustments when I changed my mind on a couple of things.  His prices were fair and he did not expect to be paid for work he had not yet completed.  I couldn't be happier with his work.
