The project was done on time and with as little disruption as possible, especially for such a large project. I work from home and had no problems continuing to do so, even when demolition was under way. The project took four weeks to complete. Jackie and Jimmy, the owners, were on site every day and were very professional and easy to work with. They paid attention to detail and produced a result that was spot on with our vision. They consulted with us on design and made useful suggestions. They gave us great ideas at to where to look for tile, granite, and fixtures as we were making our selections. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and of their subcontractors. The end result has been a stunning visual transformation of the space, and it is much more useful than it was. At the same time they were just nice people. Our dogs liked them, and they would let the dogs out or in if one of us was not around to do it. One one occasion, Jackie chased down a Waste Management truck that had threatened to bypass us on garbage day because of the number of trucks in our cul-de-sac. We would happily hire them again and recommend them to others.

Jackie and Jimmy did a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen, including changing the countertops to granite, installing a new backsplash, refurbishing all the cabinets, changing knobs/pulls, replacing lighting, cleaning grout, re-caulking, repainting and much more. They always showed up as expected and we never had any major surprises. And the contractors they use seem to really know what they are doing. All at a fair price. We highly recommend DATE Construction.
