Appliance Repair
11/11/06 We called because our washer stopped agitating and spinning. The man who came out determined it needed a new transmission, which he would order and install on Monday 11/19/06. The company only charges a service call if they don't do further work, but since we were ordering the part, we paid them $150. We called to reschedule the repair due to a family death and were told that the part was back-ordered until sometime in January. We were told at that time we would be receiving a check for the unpaid balance. Today, 12/14/06, we still haven't received the check AND we have called them repeatedly and left messages. Meanwhile, we went to a reputable vendor and purchased a new machine.

They came on short notice, and it only took 10 minutes to remove the clothing. Unfortunately, they had a minimum charge of $99.
