Rockland Flooring

Original installation went well, and the finished work initially looked great. However, when problems arose, it turned out to be very difficult to get in touch with anyone who could/would deal with those problems. The staff would not return phone calls. I had to go to the business several times before I could find someone in person to schedule repairs. Repair work was a circus: Rockland scheduled a date and did not show up. Then they scheduled two dates and times but showed up at least an hour late each time. Multiple dates were required because they showed up the first time without enough materials to finish the job. During the initial installation they put in one board that was flawed. One Rockland rep said that there was nothing they could do, despite the warranty. Another, however, did say he could fix the flawed board where it would be unnoticeable. He "fixed" it, but you could see the repair as soon as you entered the room. A second round of repairs was needed on the area Rockland "fixed", but I tried unsuccessfully to get in touch with anyone at Rockland. No number of phone messages left and store visits got me any help. In frustration, I hired another flooring company to fix the small flawed area. I have had no complaints with Rockland's bathroom tiling and their work on baseboards, however.
