They're very economical than taking a dog to a regular vet. They don't do emergency services but they do all the shots. Sometimes you have to wait. There's no appointment, you just walk in. The only time you get an appointment is if you're getting your animal neutered.

They were real nice but it was really expensive and they told me next time I could get a discount. It took a really long time for the transaction to take place. I had a prescription and was just picking meds up. Opted for different vet for checkup etc.

We'd gone to multiple vets and they just basically said, "We don't know." And we ended up going there. He still had the IV because our vet would not - he was like, "I don't know what's wrong, we still think he needs it." Because he had been in the hospital all night. We took him to this new vet, we were frantic. He's only like three pounds. We took him in and we told them that his vet won't see him, he said we don't know what's wrong. And I was just - he still got the IV, I don't know what's wrong. He took him, he looked at him, he took him, he knew exactly what was wrong, he said, "I know what he's got but I've got to run some tests, it's very, very expensive." But he had addison's disease and he literally - he was in the hospital from that Monday till the following Saturday and I'll be - and he saved his life. He had gotten down to like two pounds, one point nine pounds or something like that. And he was dying, he was literally dying on me. And he got to four pounds to just taking like half a little pill once a day, that's it. And he's perfect. He literally saved his life. The disease makes them not thrive. They just shut down and thrive. He said he recognized it because he had saved a dog once before. He shook his head, he said, "No, I know exactly what's wrong, he could die, but he's not going to because I know what's wrong." And he literally put him in the hospital, started doing the treatment, and then he ran the test first. But he said, "I would start the treatment because I know the symptoms." And he started the treatment, I mean, literally today, he weighs like four pounds. And he is just - I still, we still go to him. He gave us so many discounts. He was in the hospital all week, I would take him home only at night and then bring him back in the morning.

We took our dying dog to this vet after the staff of Forrest Creek Animal Hospital treated us rudely. The staff here were much more responsive and professional. They saved our dog's life, properly diagnosing him, and giving him the correct treatment. Our dog is thriving now.

They are friendly, knowledgeable, and they can see you on short notice. We like their service very much. We had a previous dog that we had taken to Central Texas Animal Hospital that could not find the issue and then we took them to this animal hospital and they new exactly what was going on. They gave us medicine and were very informative on what was going on.

I don't use them any more due to the vet's lack of knowledge and errors made. He told me one dog had cataracts, but an expensive specialist said it was normal aging. The eye specialist told me any vet could do a simple eye surgery for my dog, but Dr. G. did it wrong and it has to be re-done - more expense, and more trauma for my dog. A simple inoculation injection in the wrong place in my dog's back caused sharp back pain. A euthanasia experience was very painful and traumatic for my sick dog. His offfice is disorganized, including records missing from my pet's file.
Response from Pflugerville Animal Hospital
"Sadly life contains sorrows that cannot be assuaged, and it is important for us to be honest in acknowledging this as the last visit was in 2006. As a testament to our striving for perfection, we have taken steps to ensure that this will never happen again by insuring to set up a time for a one-on-one consultation with any client who feels we have not met their expectations."
