I would NOT hire this company again. I paid for a tech to diagnose an issue with my dishwasher. The tech watched my dishwasher for a few minutes and then offered a few guesses as to what might be wrong. He didn't open up the dishwasher to perform any diagnostic work whatsoever. I asked the company for at least a partial refund. They refused.

Perhaps one of the most common and simplest repairs on a gas range is replacing the igniter. I know this because I have replaced the one on my old range twice over 20 years. The reason I opted not to do it this time is because I have a home warranty and it was cheaper to use them for this repair. My home warranty service sent Mr. Appliance over and it took their technician four visits over 20 days to accomplish this very basic job. The first visit was on May 23rd to diagnose the problem and order the part. This part should be kept on hand by every appliance repair company. However, there’s is a part supply warehouse located in Austin where I’ve always bought my parts. During the second visit, on June 3rd, the technician broke the new part. He unsuccessfully tried to locate another truck with a replacement part, so it had to be reordered a second time. On June 6th he returned for the third time and did not have the part with him. He asked if it had been delivered to us. He admitted he hadn’t even mentioned it was supposed to be delivered to my home, but also never checked to be sure it had before his arrival. As it turned out, it had not been shipped to me and was sitting on someone’s desk at the main office. It was decided by this technician that rather than go get the part and replace it, they would need to reschedule for June 10th. On the morning of June 10th, I was informed that the technician was sick and did not come to work. They rescheduled for the following day. On June 11th he miraculously arrived and got the part replaced. I can not imagine a business performing at this level of incompetence and remaining profitable unless there is some level of dishonesty going on. For this reason I would recommend you steer as far away from them as possible.

The repair person diagnosed the problem as a bad control board based on consultation with the Bosch people by phone. The part was drop shipped to me and he returned and installed it. It turned out not to be the problem. He returned the part and ordered the motor controller which he believed was the problem. It arrived a few days later, he came out and installed it, and the refrigerator was fixed. Much less cost than a new refrigerator.

I've had a repeating failure on our KitchenAide refrigerator where the damper that controls the coldness of the refrigeration side (cool air coming from the freezer side) fails. It's been replaced 3 times. We also had a leaking filter hose/case. The Mr. Appliance Repair folks have been quite prompt getting the replacement parts and taking care of this very bad manufacturer problem. The replacement part was a fee for the first visit, but the other 2 replacements were under warranty, but there's still a service fee for the visit.

Hired Mr Appliance to repair a dryer at a tent's house. They did arrive on time and diagnose the problem. However while onsite the tech used the restroom (#2) and did not flush the toilet. After diagnosing the problem, I asked to proceed with repairs. They ordered the part and after it arrived the tech was dispatched for the install, after install was complete the tech left and the washing machine stopped working. I called the company and the tech was dispatched a 3rd time to repair the washing machine, the tech arrived on time and 'fixed' the washing machine, and used the bathroom again without flushing. My tenant then called me saying the washing machine won't advance to the next cycle any more, I went onsite and found the control panel on the unit had been badly damaged and unable to open because it was bent. This may explain the reason for the unit not advancing to the next cycle. There was never any mention of previous damage to the unit before the tech started working on it. I'm now left with a new problem and I don't trust this company to resolve it. I'll simply buy a new washer/dryer.

I bought the Angies List "diagnostic visit, cost will be applied to parts" special deal. It was easy to setup the appointment. The technician arrived promptly. He spent a couple hours investigating and running the machine through its paces. He did not find a problem to fix but did alert us to a build up of soap film and gave advice on how to clear it. He reminded us the coupon was good for 30 days in case the E15 came up again. It's been 30 days. The problem has not re-occurred. I rated Price as "Good (B)", not "Excellent (A)", only because I don't know the typical price for a "diagnostic visit with no problem found" and presumably the coupon included a little extra since the cost would have gone to parts. I would call Mr. Appliance again in the future if needed.

Very well. Very knowledgeable, courteous, informative. Many of the appliances are old. I appreciate that they try hard to fix it first. But if the repair and parts will be expensive they will weigh the cost of an expensive repair versus buying a new one. I appreciate having options. They haven't steered me wrong and I trust them.

Serviceman came same day I called. They were very professional. He diagnosed the problem, called to see if the part was available. He then left, picked up the part, and was back to our home within the hour to replace the ice maker. .We were very satisfied with their services.

Did online research to see if this was still available Found a few but Model Numbers didn't match. Called company and asked that they come but first research if they could even obtain the proper part. Receptionist said no tech was (ever?) available by phone to determine if they could fix this! Called him out anyway, took a look and stated he couldn't fix but did give me a local source to explore it myself and charged me $99. and left. Local plumbing supply did locate, charged to my credit card and shipped to me. Called tech back out to install, nice and polite, did job quickly and charged me another $200.

The technician arrived and called Samsung to diagnose two issues. Samsung identified the part needed and the order was placed. A deposit was paid for the part. The same technician returned the following week to install the part. He confirmed that if the part did not alleviate the issue, I could return it for a full refund (it was a quite expensive part). I followed up the same afternoon to let them know that the same issues were still occurring. We set a time for the technician to return. I received a call prior to the next appointment to let me know that the original technician who was helping me had been injured and that I would need to reschedule with a different tech later in the week. We scheduled another time and a new tech arrived for that appointment to return the part. He asked if the original tech had removed and reinstalled the water filter, as that was a common issue. I told him that he did not. He removed the filter and put it back in and the water seemed to work fine at the time. He took the Samsung part and assured me that a full refund would be granted and the only charge would be the original diagnosis fee that was originally paid to Angie's List (which was a misdiagnosis) . I think he also felt bad that I was charged $600+ for a part that was not needed. He even wrote it on the receipt to grant a full refund. I followed up either that evening or the following morning to let Mr. Appliance know that we were still experiencing both issues with the refrigerator. That removing and reinstalling the filter did not fix the issue, either. I never heard back from them. I emailed Mr. Appliance asking to confirm the full refund of $612.36, as promised by the technician-- and was written on the receipt. When I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that the full amount had not been refunded. I called MR. Appliance and the lady on the phone told me that she checked with the supervisor and a full refund would not be granted-- that technicians are told to never promise a full refund. Not my problem. I asked to speak with the supervisor/owner and she said that he was out of town, but that I could leave a message. My call was never returned. I called again several days later and left another message, asking for the full refund and a returned phone call. My call was never returned and I never received the remainder of my refund. Ultimately, two technicians misdiagnosed the issue with my refrigerator. We are still left with the same issues (water spout doesn't work and the computer reboots randomly). After repeated calls to Mr. Appliance, they have neither granted a full refund, nor returned my phone call to address the issues. I had issues with arrival and appointment times, as well (not showing up on scheduled date, calling at the last minute of a half-day window to let me know he was on his way)-- but those are the least of my worries and not my chief complaint.
