Merry Maids of Pflugerville

Beware of this company…it will cost you! My mother had a stroke and the cleaning of her home would be more challenging so my sister and I decided to have her home professionally cleaned each month. I hired Molly Maids to clean her home. In our discussions regarding pricing, I was offered a discounted rate on 24 cleanings. The first time they came out was the initial cleaning and it was agreed that we would notify them within 24 hours if the home was not cleaned to her satisfaction. Unfortunately, it was three days later that my mother told me what a poor job was done on her home and she was very disappointed. I left numerous messages to have someone return my call to no avail. Finally, (4 days later), I reached the manager. He said he was on vacation so that is why he did not return my calls. I cannot believe he did not have someone available to handle his calls while he was away. After I explained the problem, he agreed to not charge us for the next cleaning.  The following week a new crew came out and they did a poor job as well. They totally missed cleaning the utility room and when they returned to clean it, they were very rude. Nobody wants to tolerate a stranger in their home and they arrive with an attitude. We decided to cancel our services with Merry Maids because of the continuous poor service. They came back and charged us full price on all the poor service my mother received to get out of the contract. I would not recommend anyone to use this company because it will cost you and you will get nothing for it!

They promised to be on time and professional. They showed up 4 hours early for the first cleaning which cost $400. The weekly cleanings we had agreed on were to be about $150. After we complained to the office about poor schedule management and explained about how they interrupted our family plans, rather than trying to work with us they said it was a bad fit and they would no longer provide service to us. All they did was price gouge us for the first cleaning and then quit us after our first complaint.

It was the worst experience I've ever had with a housecleaning company and I've been using housekeepers for years!!!
