I've used LaPoint Services for 20 yrs. Replaced compressor/condensers, ad-hoc repairs and annual maintenance. They differentiate themselves by responding so quickly and always keeping customer service & quality at the front. Scott (and his team) are as trustworthy as they come! Recommend highly!

Called LaPoint expecting to be told it would be Monday before they could service me, and they surprised me by being able to come out that day. He arrived on time and worked quickly to check and flush out my system. He then adjusted all of the output of the system and tested the components and found the part for warranty service. Great service, price, and response time.

Scott is always available to take a call, and has come out on weekends for emergency services multiple times.  He is always friendly, always ready to help, and has great prices.  His work has been top-notch, and we have had him repair mistakes or issues left by other companies.  Scott even took the time to educate us on the entire system, and helped explaining maintenance and repairs we could do ourselves.  His knowledge of the physics behind heating and cooling is just as strong as his mechanical skill.
I would highly recommend Scott for his integrity, knowledge, skills, and price.

I had a leak in my house that my plumber found connected to the A/C drain pipe, he recommended Marcus at Lapoint Services. I must say that they took my call at 8pm at night and offered to have someone come over immediately. Due to the hour and the minor leak, I decided on a 8am appointment the next day. Marcus arrived on time and with a helper. He not only fixed my leak, he recommended preventative installations to ensure leaks don't happen in the future. Since his service was so good, I had him do a maintenance service on both my A/C unit and my furnace since they haven't been checked in years. He was quick, professional, friendly, and very nice to my dogs (who kept barking at him). I highly recommend him and this company.

We used Lapoint Services when we lived in Pflugerville. He was the ONLY one we used because of his honesty and integrity. When we moved to Georgetown I established with a company that was recommended by my neighbor and it has been great for the routine things. In fact, I have had a service agreement with them yearly to do free check ups. However, this check up proved not so good. I was told that I had a leak in the upstairs coil and replacement would run at least $2,000 - $2,200 and it was advised to maybe even replace the unit which would run around $7,000 or higher depending on the brand. So I did the only desperate thing I could...called Scott to seek his advice.
Much to my excitement, I learned that he now services my area so his representative Marcus came out and checked everything  and confirmed my problem. Scott gave us a bid on both fixing or replacing and we were very happy with the findings! Air conditioners are not cheap and we had a decision to make so with Scott's input, advice and expertise we were able to make a sound decision. He helped us buy some time by fixing the evaporative coil, drain pan, float switches and recharging the system. It is a sure bet that we will need to replace it in the future (hopefully we can get a few more years from it) but I can tell you right now the only one who will replace it is Lapoint Services!
The two men he sent to represent him did an excellent job. They were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and answered all questions to my satisfaction. Thank you, Scott Lapoint, for being a wonderful friend and trusted service man!

We spent about $150 to $200 when they last came out. They top the line in every way. They are fair, prompt and polite. I trust them implicitly. The first time we used them, one of our units had gone out and we got lots of bids. So, they came out and gave us a great price. They also gave us a lot of good information. As a result, we have used them several times since, but this was several years ago. We have been very pleased with them every time. They are professional in every way. They are really one of the best service providers we have ever used. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

This was the first time we had used his services. It went great. We had several bids and his was right in the middle. He was recommended to us by a coworker of my husbands so we decided to go with him. He came across as being the most honest and he was very straightforward. He did not try to sell us a unit that we did not need. He was prompt and polite and we have been very satisfied and have recommended him to our friends.
