I got an estimate quickly. Agreed on the price and a date was set up. They came when they said they would. Did a nice clean job.
They put lights in some of my big trees that give just enough light for people to find their way.

The owner of Illumination Concepts is a true professional in every sense demonstrating knowledge, creativity, excellent communication skills and level of commitment to his work. It is rare to find such a business owner with all of these qualities. I have had quite a lot of experience with contractors and landscapers and never had such a positive experience. The job was finished right on schedule and Nick came over at night when the lights first came on to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it.
The lighting was SO much more beautiful than I had imagined!
I feel very safe now that my yard has soft lighting, and as well the trees and bushes that were accented are spectacular!
As a matter of fact, I just contacted Illuminations so that they can come and add the lights that were in the original estimate!
A friend that saw my yard has already contracted Illuminations to come and add lights to his yard.
If you are thinking about getting lights in your yard, do NOT contact a landscaping company "that also does lighting".
I initially had hired a landscaper to put in a few lights and compared to Illuminations, the work the landscaper did looks sub-par compared to my new lighting Nick put in ( luckily, he was happy to fix the lighting the previous contractor had done so now everything looks great).
Nick Tennis and Illuminations gets my highest recommendation?.. if only all the contractors I have worked with were as great as this company!

I wish Angie had an "A+" selection, as this is what I would liked to have chosen for a rating for Illumination Concepts. Nick, the owner is a true professional, and knowledgeable about landscape lighting - he made several suggestions after we told him what we wanted and gave us ideas we had not considered. He also is a gentleman, and responded to our calls whenever we had questions or concerns. He warrants his work and offered a yearly maintenance package which was very reasonable. He is the one you talk to about the job and the one who puts it in - no subcontracting. If any members would like to Email me I would gladly give them my address so they could see the truly beautiful job done by Illumination Concepts. I plan on adding more lighting by Illumination Concepts after I build a pool. Patrick

We contacted Nick Tennis, owner of Illumination Concepts, after observing the high praise he received, from previous clients, on Angie's List. When we spoke to him we were very impressed with his approach, which was to highlight the existing environment (trees, color of the stone, foot print and façade of the home, etc.) to give an artistic flair to the finished product. At no point did we feel that we were being talked into buying more than what we needed. We were offered a range of options (products and pricing) and the technical differences were explained in terms that we could understand. The quote was submitted in a timely manner and there were no surprises. The scheduling was accommodated to suit our needs and work started as scheduled. Eduardo (who installed the lights and the wiring) was very conscientious and meticulous; Nick inspected his work regularly. The work was finished on time. When the lights were turned on after dusk, we were very pleased with what we saw. The lighting has further enhanced the curb appeal of our home. Nick was at our home to make sure that we were happy with what we saw.
We plan on engaging Illumination Concepts for additional work around our yard.

Nick was thorough and detailed. He explained what our options were for maintenance. He provided a thorough estimate and allowed us to select what services we wanted to proceed with. Nick did not pressure us into any options. He provide use with education on what his maintenance service includes and the frequency. Nick and his worker, were punctual and as they identified additional issues, we were able to have those addressed and corrected all in the same visit. Nick does exactly what he promises.
After dark, we went out to review the lights. They look great! We will continue to have Nick come to maintain our system.
Very responsive to initial inquiry, unlike two other firms we contacted. Provided detail overview of products to be used and preliminary sketch of where lights would be installed. Took less than a week with no problems.
Also connected some entry lights leading up tp porch.
Followed up to make sure we were satisfied.
Overall very pleased and would recommend.
I would hire Nick and Illumination Concepts again without a doubt.

He then suggested some landscape lighting on a trial basis, which we also loved. I enjoy looking out the front windows at the lighted trees and palmetto and I find myself wandering out at night just to admire the view from the street.
