Grillin' Spaces, LLC.

Description of Work: I contracted Michael Thompson the owner and operator of Grillin' Spaces in Pflugerville, TX to build an outdoor kitchen for my new home. Stay away from this business. The work was terrible and he consistently told me lies. I am in the process of suing him for his terrible work. Below is the email that I sent to him and he refused to fix any of the issues. This is a copy of the email the I sent Micheal, the owner of grillin Spaces. The only thing he offered to fix is # 4. As you know Mr. Thompson, my wife and I are displeased with the quality of the work that we received with the out door kitchen. Below are the problems with the kitchen. 1) Spaces left around the gas grill. I was now aware that the grill would look presentable once inserted. You failed to tell me that the grill would have large spaces between the grill and concrete. 2) I was under the impression that I was paying for an outdoor kitchen installation which includes installation of the grill. The grill was not put together, there is a whole left in the bottom of the grill rendering it unusable. As discussed, I understood that you could not make the conversion from propane to natural gas; however, I expected for the remainder of the grill installation to be completed. There were boxes and all sorts of trash left inside the grill and absolutely no care was taken to make the project look good. 3) Underneath the grill area was left dirty and unclean, and pieces of concrete were left at the site. 4) The boarders of the cut-outs in the privacy wall, the tiles are not cut evenly and there is no calking between the tile and the wall which will allow water to enter between the tile and the wall. 5) The concrete has small bubbles in it and the colors are not evenly distributed. There is calking between the concrete and the privacy wall but there is no calking on the side between the brick wall and the concrete allowing water to enter. 6) There are metal pieces sticking out of the concrete where the cut out for the green egg is. Also, the color of the concrete has been painted on the brick where the egg cut out is supposed to be. 7) I disclosed to you that my we wanted 6 additional inches added to the top of privacy wall and you made the cut outs before the additional inches were added causing the cut-outs to not be centered from top to bottom. 8) There are significant gaps in the concrete which are very unappealing to the eye. There are small pieces of rock stuck into the corners of the brick to try and fill in the gaps giving a very unprofessional and unpolished look. 9) You were dishonest when you stated that i declined the addition of a plumber to extend the gas pipe from the home to the position of the grill. We never had that conversion. That was not true. I even asked you why is was that you were not writing our request regarding the kitchen down and you stated that you could remember. 10) There was concrete poured in the grass of our yard. 11) Lastly, I am disappointed with your level of professionalism. I came to the back door of my home one day early on in the project and you and your workers didn't realize that I was standing there. I overheard saying to your workers, "I don't know why he wants the privacy wall extended, it looks fine the way it is". You proceeded to tell your workers that it was stupid that my wife and I wanted the wall to be extended. Very unprofessional sir.
