Contracting ATX LLC

I was matched with Contracting ATX through Angie's List. I called and spoke with Alfonzo; I told him a bit about the water damage inside the home and needed the roof fixed to prevent any further damage. Alfonzo said it would be no problem for him to fix the roof that currently he was at a job but could come later in the week. I first met with Alfonzo at the residence, he seemed to know what he was talking about repairing the roof. I showed Alfonzo the water damage that was done on the inside of the home (Laundry Room and Master Bedroom Closet) and also the area of the roof where a previous roofing contractor showed me, where you could see the flashing raised up. Alfonzo stated that he would screw the flashings down, seal everything up, and repair whatever needed to be done. He gave me a price for the job, and I hired him. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge of roofing. He left one worker here and went to get what was needed to fix the roof. He and his worker were here for a few hours completing the repairs. I had to borrow the money from my son, so I paid him cash for the completed work. I asked for a receipt, he stated that he did not have one with him, I thought it was odd but told me he would send me one, which he did. Last week we had a storm with heavy rain. The laundry room ceiling started to leak in the exact same area as before. I called Contracting ATX Alfonzo; the phone number that was on his business card. The person that answered the phone said that Alfonzo gave him his old phone and he gave me Alfonzo's new number. I called and Alfonzo answered, and I told him about the leak. He said to text him my address, which I did, that was on 8/27/25. I texted Alfonzo on 8/28/25, no response. I called him on 8/29/25 but was not able to leave a message, so I texted him again. He responded that he could not talk right now. I texted back ok. On 9/3/25 I called and texted him again. No response.

They did a reframing of partial roof after a tree fell through it and then re- shingled the entire roof. They also did dry wall to replace the ceiling damage. I highly recommend this company.

They sent Alfonso Ruiz to fix my leaking roof. He was honest and said my roof wasn't leaking it was the clogged drain pipe from my air-conditioning system. This really impressed me. I'll contact them the next time I have a problem.
