Read this review (court docs attached)! I hired Bright Spot painting to seal up some hairline cracks in the stucco on my house, and repair three larger cracks. In doing so they caused significant damage to my home and, after months of pleading with them to repair the damage that they openly admitted to causing, I was forced to take them to court. After not hearing back from them for months, immediately after the court case was filed I of course get a call from their attorney, who freely and openly admits that Bright Spot caused the damage to my home. I offered them what I felt was very fair, and was all that I had asked for from the beginning: repair the damage you caused and I’ll cancel the court case. They send me the name of a guy who they say works almost exclusively on stucco. When I call him his immediate response is “no, I don’t do any work on stucco”. So to court I go, they don’t even bother showing up knowing that they’re 100% in the wrong, and that court doc is attached so you can see this is all completely accurate. After the judgment is finalized their attorney again calls, Kim D. Brown, a man who is a caricature of an attorney, always saying things then immediately denying that he just said it, and tells me that the owner of Bright Spot, Janette Chermely, will simply refuse to pay. If I hire a collections agency to try and recover what is owed he responds that “(Janette) has no assets so good luck collecting” the court-mandated amount owed (to the penny what I paid another company to perform the repair, absolutely nothing added on). I’ve given them a month to pay what is owed, so Mr. Brown has clearly stood by his advice to his client to simply ignore a court order, and Ms. Chermely has no desire to try and make things right. This is what you will get if you hire Bright Spot Painting. Oh, and they required that I pre-pay for the job, so they actually got paid to damage my home.

They have done painting and repaired exterior wood that was rotting. I use them every year for spring painting since we have a 100 year old home that needs constant painting. I have been been using them for about 2 years now. They are great. I really like Jeannett and she is a "can-do-girl and does a great job! I highly recommend them.

Working with Bright Spot Painting and Janette was really fantastic! They did a beautiful job painting the interior and exterior of our home. They finished the job on time and the estimate was very reasonable. Janette and all of her crew were courteous and professional. They cleaned up everything when they left each day and always showed up on time and ready to work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
