Berli's Body & Fine Auto Finishes

Excellent and without delay. I had my truck back to me a few days ahead of the anticipated delivery date. Scott kept me informed of progress as each step was completed. I had to pay the labor cost difference between what Berli's charges and what Geico deemed "acceptable", but for just a few dollars per hour difference, it was worth it for my piece of mind. This is the 3rd time I have needed to use Berli's, and each time their work has been top notch and of the highest quality.

They did an excellent job. My vehicle looks like new. Bonus; when I picked up my vehicle it was showroom clean inside and out, Way Cleaner than when I took it in, very impressive!

One of the finest paint and body shops I have used.  We just moved to the Austin area and the Lexus dealership recommended Berli's.  The paint matches perfectly.  The SUV drives and looks like new.  They did an outstanding job working with my insurance company and kept me informed during the entire process.  They also did an excellent job detailing the car before returning it to me.  I worked with "D" Evans.  He was completely professional from start to finish.  I highly recommend "D" and Berli's for any paint and body work you may have.

They are still working on the vehicle. However, they have been responsive and done all coordination with insurer which has eased my workload. Also have an enterprise rental nearby that can pick you up and provide a rental car while work is performed. This is the second time I have used Berli's and my second visit was based upon my experience the first time a couple of years ago. Repair was flawless. Looked like original equipment. Also paint matched perfectly. And car was detailed when I went to pick up. Great Job.

On 4-17-13, I took my BMW X5 in for an estimate for repair of hail damage. State Farm Insurance evaluated the damage to my car and wrote an extensive report of the damage and their estimates of the cost to repair it. The salesman at Berli's looked at the State Farm estimate and said that Berli's charged more than State Farm allowed and said that solely on the basis of the difference in prices charged/allowed, at a minimum the repair would be $248 more. I said OK. He then said that with hail damage, they (Berli's) would probably find more damage than State Farm did and the extent of the repair would be more than State Farm estimated. I said, and quot;Well, can you give me a rough, ball park figure of how much more?and quot; The salesperson said, and quot;No, we can't tell until we take everything apart.and quot; He said, and quot;For example, a person brought a car in for hail repair, and State Farm said it would cost $10,000 to repair and after we took the car apart, we found that it took $20,000 to repair it. That's why we ask you to sign this paper, saying that you agree to pay the difference between what your insurer will pay and what we say it costs.and quot; So, basically, Berli's is saying, and quot;Let us take your car apart and then we will tell you how much it will cost to fix it.and quot; I said, and quot;No, thank youand quot; and took my car elsewhere.
I have tried to make this review concise. There is much more I could write about my unsatisfactory experience with this salesperson, but the bottom line is I think their practice of having you sign that you will accept their repair costs after they have taken your car apart and done the repairs is unacceptable. Once they have taken your car apart, you have no options but to have it fixed and pay them. Basically they are saying, and quot;We are asking you to sign a statement saying we are going to screw you, but we won't tell you how bad, until we have you in position where you have no option but to pay the difference.and quot; I will not deal with these people again.

Berli's is absolutely the best paint and body shop I've ever used. These people were professional from the first contact. I was kept informed as the work progressed and the car was finished on the promised date. Their body and paint work was of the highest quality and they cooridinated everything with my insurance company. I was very pleased with the entire process.

Overall excellent. Nathan (CSR) and everyone there were very professional and they all knew what they were doing. The repairs were 1st Class (and I'm "picky") and I would use them again. They also let me drop off the rental and they called Enterprise Leasing and made arrangements to pick up the Car Rental. The customer waiting room was very well done and comfortable. They called frequently to provide a status of the Progress of the repairs.

I would give them all "A's" across the board. The BMW dealership recommended them to me. I have used them twice with an insurance claim and once independently. They do great work. I had a problem with my paint and they took the car in and gave it grade A treatment and completely fixed the problem for free. Regardless of what work you get done there, they completely detail your car and it looks brand new out of the showroom when you get it back. I would recommend them.

I worked with Ronni for this this particular visit. Besides being very professional and a superstar coordinator with the insurance company, Ronni did a few things that were above and beyond my best expectations. 1) He figured out who installed my window tint, and had it installed for free (apparently I had bought a protection plan on the tint). 2) He convinced me not to try to repair the leather in my car because he knew I would not be happy with the results, even though Berli's would have made more money off of the repair work than installing a new seat cover. 3) he installed a new roof rack to be sure there would be no problems with the repair (car was pretty twisted up from the run-in with the garage, with all the forces transmitted into the car via the roof rack). 4) he stayed an hour after they closed to wrap up payment with me.

I've been using Berli's for many years with excellent results. My cars come back in perfect condition and the cleanest they've been since they rolled off the showroom floor. The staff is professional and go far, far out of their way to be helpful. They coordinate very well with our insurance company and communicate efficiently and timely with their customers. Their work is second to non in Austin and they work very hard for it. This is where everyone takes their expensive cars without a second thought. I've unfortunately had many opportunities to be their customer, but it always works out better than I expect.

Some specifics:
- They use/demand OEM parts
- They use the worlds best paint that has a lifetime warranty
- They warranty their work
- They work with local vendors to get things like clear-bra and tint back on the car
- They have a excellent reputation and are well know by insurance adjusters (at least the ones at USAA)
- Their shop looks like a clean room, even the detailing shop
- They can work with Carbon and Aluminum
- Their detailers are amazing - inside, and out. They can get out swirl marks, calcium deposits and stains. These guys know what they are doing.

The car looks great! Ronnie Bevers was professional and efficient in the estimate and check in process, kept me informed during the repair process, and completed the job on time. This was the best experience I have ever had in any service on my car. I will definitely recommend them to others and use Berli's if I need work in the future.

I stopped by to get an estimate on a minor paint repair, thinking we would need at least a coat of paint to fix the damage. Howvever, when they looked at, they took it in their shop and buffed it out for no charge! They could have easily charged me or even told me the damage was worse than it was. Honesty in the auto repair industry...who would have thought! I will be back the next time I need auto body work!
