First of all let me start by saying I live outside of Washington DC! After becoming overly frustrated with all of the local service providers in my area (and there are a ton!) over missed appointments or not listening to the needs / functionality I needed in my system I was was at my wits end. Thats until one day a few months ago when I stumbled across Strotek in a online forum for Control4. Ever since then I have completely revamped my system from top to bottom. Lighting Control, Audio / Video Control, and now even Voice Control! Strotek has been more than patience, understanding, and responsive. whether it was Sunday programing appointments or shipping me any supplies or equipment I needed they have been an absolute dream to deal with. I can say there aren't may companies that I can consider friends... but these guys definitely are!

We're SO happy with our new system and with the service provided by Strotek! We received 3 quotes and decided to go with Strotek based on their professionalism, price, and my gut feeling that Johann and Christina would do what they said they'd do and make sure that we were happy with the system and knew how to use it. And, they did just that!
They were very professional and patient with us in explaining what the system is capable of doing, customizing it to our wishes, and then training us until we were very comfortable with the whole system. We are not IT experts by any stretch so it seemed intimidating at first but with Strotek's help we feel very comfortable now operating the system.
The things we can do with the system is too long to list but a few of our favorites include:
1. Turning on certain lights automatically when you open the door.
2. Telling the system that your ready to take a bath and then the lights dim and our 'bath music' is played!
3. Getting notified when the clothes dryer is finished so that you can either take them out right away or keep them spinning for a while longer.
4. Having separate keypad codes on the front door so you know who came in and when....and you can get notified if you'd like.
Overall we're very happy and we'll use Strotek in the future as we've already decided to add a few more capabilities in the near future.
