He showed up on-time, was friendly and took us through our new home, pointing out some things that would need to be addressed by the builder as well as giving us information on how to keep the home running well for decades. If you are buying a new home, be sure to get an independent inspection, and if you are in the Recon service area, well lucky you! Amazing service, attention to detail, and communicated everything clearly. I wouldn't buy a home in this area without Recon.

Randall came over to conduct an inspection on a property in Hitchcock, TX. He discovered that the property appeared to be flipped and had signs of botched repair work. He also found multiple fire safety hazards and repairs that were not performed to code. It gives me peace of mind knowing all of the problems so that I can make an informed decision on purchasing the property. The sellers did not previously disclose any of the defects. This is the 3rd time that I have obtained a property inspection and Randall is by far the most detailed inspector that I have come across. I can see why he was recommended by my realtor, Jennie Gonzales at Bernstein Realty.

Being a first time homeowner, we didn't know what to look out for. Randall pointed out things like damage, cracks, exposed wires, fire hazards, and water leaks. He used a thermal imaging technology to measure how far the leak is by temperature of the wall. Randall answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of advice for improvements around the house to maintain it better. He pays very close attention to details and is very thorough. Inspection Report: 1st page shows a Recon Home Inspections info and an image and address of the inspected property. Page 2-3 describes purpose, limitations and inspector responsibilities for legal reasons. Page 4 "Safety hazards summary" (red) and "In need of repair" alert (yellow) summary. The list can be very long if there are a lot of issues with the house. All the hazards and alerts are address with clear pictures and recommendations later on in the report. We were able to ask for safety hazard repairs for the home and received seller credit for other issues around the home. We are glad we used Recon Home Inspections as our home inspector. Randall was great. He was punctual and professional, took the time to explain things as he did the inspection. Was patient and answered ALL if my wife's question honestly and sincerely. we are first time homeowners and Randall helped us out tremeandoysly.
