NATIONAL TIRE & BATTERY

Arrived shortly after the store opened.  Requested an oil change, they promptly took our information and keys.  After about an hour, the technician came into the waiting room to tell us that the air filter was dirty, asked if we wanted it changed, we said no, then he told us it would be finished shortly.  Turns out at this point they had not even drained the oil from the vehicle yet, and we would be sitting for another hour with no further updates.  There appeared to be plenty of workers, but most seemed to be walking around the shop aimlessly or standing behind the store.  The manager on duty that day had his pants down low enough that you could see his boxer shorts.  It took over 2 hours from when we handed the keys over until the oil changed was finished.  The woman in front of us had her vehicle finished and parked out front for 20 minutes and no one came to get her to tell her it was finshed.  After the service, we went next door to autozone, bought a new air filter, went to install it and found that they didn't snap the cover back on over the air filter, and that the existing air filter wasn't even dirty and could easily have lasted another few oil changes.  We will never go back.
