This review is for Baybrook Webster Texad store ONLY- and Lowes install service contractor policy IN GENERAL. Lowes Baybrook removed signs for a free install on Bosch dishwashers at the command of the appliance manager for an offer for the 4th of July. They stated Corporate TOLD them to remove the signs. I believed and decided to pay them that day vs wait until the 4th and bought the dishwasher - extended warantee and install despite I learned later other Lowes did NOT remove signs indicating a sale that started just a few days later... Other stores kept signs up and honored the free install . This cost me $139.00 to install. Lowes install services uses their preferred list of THEIR contractors not independent contractors .What they DONT tell you is LOWES pays the contractor DIRECTLY and gets a cut of their install. So when the installer came he stated, "oh we have a problem". The problem was an old style heavy COPPER valve from 1989. He said he needed to cut off and remove the valve in order to honor the extended warantee I also purchased. He said the removal of the valve would cost extra. Everything was out and disassembled and ready to go. I asked how much to cut the valve off the heavy copper and replace with his approved PLASTIC quarter turn vale you see on toilets - the valve costs $5.00 and cheep! The installer told $175.00 MORE dollars for a grand total of $314.00! More than half the cost of the $500 dishwasher I said $175.00 is more than the install and he said that's what it costs. I pointed out he is already there- no trip charge and the valve cost $5.99 - outrageous! I said I want a second opinion to which RWB installer said he could do it for $125! He pointed out RWB doesnt get it all Lowes get a cut and they get the rest. This negotiation was without a call to a supervisor . The check was written to Lowes. I was stuck - I had my old one on the tile and the new one on the driveway! I agreed but told him I would fight the charge . The cut away and the entire replacement took less than two minutes with a copper cutter - 2 mins!!!! I called Corporate they seemed concerned and thought that was high and had the store manager call me- the assistant manager called me instead and she was unsympathetic and defensive.. She said I don't second guess the installers. But I called plumbers - it was price gouging and the store assistant manager did not care. upon another request to corporate - the store manager refused to call me back. The assistant manager did and said she'd give me $60 (1/2 of the valve ) install only and zero back on the free install due to the sign removal. She said take it or leave it. I told her I would consult corporate. That is the last Baybrook called. Corporate cared but could not force the store to do anything no matter how outrageous! (League city kept their signs up all during this time and they honored a free install.) Baybrook said "we have to pay them something". Problem is the installer is paid BY LOWES and gets a good part of the install dollars so a conflict of interest to protect us from installer price gouging and no incentive to stop it... Older buyers beware. Hire your own trustworthy installer . I am the loser but I hope you learn from their scam.

I like their selection. We picked it up and installed it ourselves. Their prices are good. Sometimes they are understaffed and I wait for help. They are professional. I would use them again.

I used them through a gift card that I had received from Angie's List and my experience with them was good. Their customer service is always good. Everybody I deal with there is very knowledgeable and always quick to provide help.

They said that they could not refund my money because they go through another party to come out and give me the measurements. I went to the store and the lady who had the measurements spoke to her manager about giving me the measurements and they said they would could not give them to me. They would not refund my money either.

We ordered the flooring and it came in wrong two times. When it finally was delivered correctly they had one man to install the flooring and he layed it with large bubbles in the floor. The had to reorder the flooring and he came back to redo it and it was even worse. He also broke the toilet mount while trying to replace it. We tried several times to deal with the store manager and we were finally given to a man who claimed that if we reported it to the district office it was alright because he was the one who would handle the problem, he was very rude. We finally demanded a full refund for the job and even had a problem getting that without threatening legal action.

My wife and I were both worried about this, because of the nightmare stories we had heard. Lowes answered question after question, until we were satisfied. When the job started they kept the mess contained in the kitchen. Removed all kitchenware and furniture, and covered up everything with plastic. It only took a day and half to finish it, and the kitchen now has new life added to it. There was no additional damage and the place was spotless when they left.

There were only two workers to do the whole project. They were two of the hardest workers we had in our house. They hardly talked, unless we asked them a question. They arrived on time both days they worked here, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The new counter tops look great in the kitchen. We are thinking about doing other remodeling in the house, so we asked them countless questions. All of which were answered in detail. I think we will hire Lowe's for our next job.

I went to Lowe's to pick out two storm doors and customer service was very helpful and courteous. Their prices were very reasonable. They showed me different qualities and explained the warranties and advantages. The installation was scheduled as soon as a day was available and the installer was right on time. After he installed the doors, he fixed the back security door and didn't charge me for it. He did a great job, was polite, courteous and cleaned up very well.

I really don t know how to rate this company. The people were nice and considerate. The price was cheap as well. I feel that you get whatever it is you pay for. The only regret I have, when they came to follow up, they busted some of the frames. They never did come back to fix it. They didn t even tell me. I guess half my services were good and half was not. I still would probably hire them again. I believe in second chances.

We were given an estimate of the cost and the installation was explained to us. They were very helpful and well experienced in pergo flooring. We are real pleased with the workmanship and the maintenance is carefree.

I took a drive to Lowe's and picked out an exterior door and customer service was very helpful. Their prices were quite reasonable and they explained the warranties and the quality of the door. The installation was scheduled as soon as a day was agreed on and the installer was right on time. He measured very carefully, and was cautious taking off the old door. He took the old door out and hauled it away. He did an excellent job and left the house in great shape.

Lowe's was extremely helpful in selecting the doors we chose. The design on the doorframe is fantastic. The workmen came over the next week to put them in. He was polite, and very prompt. We were actually awakened by his call, letting us know he was on his way. He was meticulous in his work, making sure the doors fit perfectly before he was satisfied. The new French doors close easier than any other doors in our house, and add class as well.

The new counter tops make the kitchen appear classy. They were not easy to install. Our kitchen is rather small and there is not much room to move around. The needed space for the counter tops came from the width of the kitchen. Now the kitchen is a little smaller. This is what we wanted though. More counter space means less kitchen space. They did an excellent job and cleaned it up when they done.

THEY WERE GREAT, ON TIME AND POLITE.

THE EMPLOYEES WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. THE DOORS WERE DELIVERED BEFORE PROMISED DATE AND INSTALLED SOONER THAN EXPECTED. MARSHALL WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL.
