GC HOME INSPECTION

Chad noted a few things, however he missed major termite damage and foundation issues. I honestly don't understand how a supposedly experienced inspector could miss such important things. There is so much damage from the termites that the garage and the bedroom above will have to be redone.

It was ok. I thought the inspection was not that detailed. After moving in, I found out quite a few things that the inspector did not catch. I guess you get what you pay for. If I do it again, I'd pay a little more and get a proper detailed inspection done.

I found G C Home Inspections on Angie List.  I call them to set up an home inspection on Wednesday and needed the inspection for Friday.  (Two days notice) they was there Friday on time.  Chad did the inspection and went over everything with me by showing me the area that needed attn. Also Chad had pictures on a computer to show me the roof, and other high places that I was not able to get to.  Explain very well in details on everything he found.   The report was e-mail to me the same day, within hours.  I would highly recommend G C Home Inspection to anyone.  Thanks, John

We called Chad to schedule a home inspection on the new home that we are building. We had to reschedule multiple times due to conflicts with the arrival of our gas meter prior to inspection and closing, but Chad was very accommodating about juggling his schedule to meet ours. He arrived promptly and worked thoroughly. I appreciated that he took the time after his inspection to show us, our realtor, and our construction manager the pictures of any flaws that he had found and to explain the issues and show us where they were. That allowed us to get several flaws addressed that very same day. We received the inspection report later that afternoon as promised. Overall, we felt that Chad did an excellent job and we would definitely recommend him to others.

Chad was very punctual, thorough and professional. I was fortunate to schedule inspection with Chad during Thanksgiving week. He did a great job and provided us with a very detailed report. I am a licensed real estate agent and will not hesitate to recommend Chad to future clients.

I called Chad on 8/13 and we setup an appointment for him to come do the inspection on 8/16 as this was the first time that the realtor and I could both be there.  Our appointment was for 9:00 AM.  I arrived about 10 minutes early and Chad was already taking pictures of the outside of the house.  He was very thorough and brought me over to show any time there was a deficiency.  He took pictures and notes on everything and tested everything.  The whole process took about 2.5 hours after I got there, plus however long he had been there before I arrived.  Chad was very polite and explained everything very well.  I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection.  Also, the house is only a year and a half old, but he found several things that were builder mistakes which were not caught before because the original buyer did not have an inspection done.  I would definitely recommend an inspection for a new home as well so that you don't have some of the problems that we are dealing with now.

When we first met with Ted Shook from GCI, he explained in detail exactly what should be looked at. He tried to describe how his equipment worked, and why he would be focusing on certain areas. It was very educational from a home buyer's standpoint. He had excellent manners, and did a thorough job of it. There were a couple of minor problems, but nothing we needed to worry about right now. We are glad we did it, though, because now we know what to watch for in the future.

DISCOVERED AIR CONDITIONING NOT COOLING QUITE ENOUGH. NEEDED A LITTLE FREON. SERVICE CALL WOULD HAVE COST MOST OF WHAT HE CHARGED FOR INSPECTION.
