DON MC CAULEY GLASS & MIRROR

I had 9 windows that had lost their seal and were fogging over. McCauley Glass measured, ordered, and installed new insulated glass windows, the glass insert only, not the frame or surround. The IGs as they are called were of a much better quality than the ones that had gone bad. Two installers performed the work in a single afternoon without any problems. My home is unique in that I have a custom designed window wall and partial roof system. The owner of McCauley Glass, Robert Fowler, had previously installed a shower door for me and I had asked him about a cosmetic problem I had with my custom window system. He came up with a solution using break metal that also enhanced the beauty of my window system. I was very impressed and the cost was very reasonable. He personally supervised the installation of the break metal. I like a service supplier who can think out of the box. The entire job went as expected. I would definitely use McCauley Glass on any glass project I have next.

My house was built in 1979, and it was popular to have a huge wall mirror in the bathroom over the sink and counter to make the room look bigger. Well, the mirror was TOO big. I had to get a step ladder to clean the top half of the mirror. I decided to have the mirrors in both bathrooms cut down a bit so I could reach them more easily to clean them. I heard of McCauley Glass and Mirror at a Cub Scout Blue and Gold ceremony where McCauley Glass donated a beautiful mirror for the silent auction. I decided to give them a call, and I was pleasantly surprised when two workers arrived promptly and quoted a price for both mirrors. The best part was that they did the entire job in my home. My house is not the roomiest place, but those two fellas removed those huge mirrors off the walls, placed them on a protective canvas drop cloth, and they got the job done in no time at all. They hauled away the trimmings of the mirror, and they even hauled away some scrap tempered glass I needed to discard. Overall I was very pleased from start to finish.
