So I had used Blinds for Less once before and the experience was decent. The sales woman that came to the house to measure was very nice and explained everything clearly. The blinds were installed approximately 3 weeks later with only one blind that was fabricated the wrong size so it had to be reordered. The saleswoman, Turquoise, came to the house to confirm we were happy with the installation which was great. We were happy with the results and the look of the blinds.
This installation was a completely opposite experience. I attempted to contact Turquoise again for new wood blinds on our rental house, only to find out that she was no longer with the company, bummer. I was told that Mitch would handle the order. Mitch came out on 7/27 and measured all the windows, he was prompt and courteous. This is were it went south, on 8/5 the blinds were ready for installation. Jimmy came out on 8/12 and I explained how I wanted the blinds installed but he ended up installing them at various heights on our custom wood moldings versus mounting them down low so they didn't cover the molding profile. He said he had to do it because the blinds were made certain lengths and he could not adjust the length of the blinds (I don't like the look). The valance at the top doesn't return all the way to the moldings either so it looks like a mistake. The one large blind that was for the picture window at the kitchen sink was fabricated 5 inches too short so it had to be reordered. Then around 9/5 I was notified that the new blind was ready so I scheduled an appointment. On 9/8 the installer called to say that he had arrived but when he opened the box, the blind had been fabricated the exact same wrong length as the first one. I told Jimmy that he needed to put a rush on the order as I had a tenant moving in soon. I tried to contact Mitch, the original salesman to express my displeasure only to find out that Mitch was no longer with the company. On 9/17 the new blind finally arrived and it was the correct length but the valance was damaged and had to be reordered once again. On 9/24 the new valance was ready for installation, a manager showed up this time to install the final valance and also address some issues with the other blinds that were not operating smoothly. Dylan opened the box with the valance and once again it was split down the middle so had to be re-ordered. On 10/10 the 4th valance was ready for installation, this time the first installed came out again and when he tried to install the valance, it was too long!!!! Jimmy just grabbed his saw and cut off the one return to get it to fit. So now this one blind has a valance with a return on one side and not the other.
So after 2-1/2 months of aggravation the blind installation is finally completed. I was never offered anything to make up for all the errors and delays, just a few "I'm sorries" which doesn't really make up for the hassle. Blinds for less was very prompt to request payment the day the installation was completed though. In the end I was very disappointed in their customer service which is really the only thing they control since they don't actually build the blinds, they just sell and install them. I do not recommend Blinds for Less.

It went well, although the installation couldn't be completed on the first trip because the blinds for one of the windows didn't fit, so they had to be reordered and the installation completed the following week. This meant no covering for one of the three master bedroom windows at the front of the house until the correct blinds arrived. I couldn't get upset because the installer was so pleasant and professional and the end result is very nice.

They showed up on time, was professional, showed up on time, and I would recommend them to others.
