I can't say enough good things about Al's Plumbing Company. They're a local, family-owned company with fair pricing, integrity, reliability and expertise. What started out as a wet sidewalk quickly escalated to a rising mound in my yard and my M.U.D. district having to shut the water to my house due to a leak in the main water pipe to my house. After an exhausting search of big and small plumbing companies and getting price quotes ranging from $1,500 - $7,000 to replace the entire main water pipe (which everyone seemed set to do) I settled with Al's Plumbing Company. I liked the way they explained what my potential problem could be, and they offered a reasonable price quote right off the bat. They were also skeptical that it was the entire main water pipe going bad and suspected that the problem was only at the connection where the water was pooling. Even though it was a weekend and there was a threat of a tropical storm hitting the area the very next day, they made me a priority job since we had no water service available to the house. They showed up early this morning, did some digging, and found my problem. Not only did they not have to replace the entire main water line as some other companies were telling me, they found that the installer of my sprinkler system (from 8 years ago) actually cut the adapter piece (to the main water line) a little short, causing the already precarious connection to eventually loosen and blow off, causing my current situation. They replaced the faulty adapter with a new one, tested the water line again and verified that there were no more leaks. These days, it's very hard to find a reliable company to do house work/repairs. Al's Plumbing Company provides honest, efficient work. They are very thorough with their explanations and will not oversell you like some other companies. Both Al and his guys were a pleasure to work with, and I'm glad to say that I have a reliable, local plumbing company I can now keep in my back pocket for any work I need done and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Our water heater was not working because the pilot light had went out. After trying to re-light for some time we call A J Gonzales of Al's Plumbing late on a Sunday night. He responded to our call immediately and told us he would be out on Monday. He was able to re-light in a few minutes and checked to confirm the water heater was now working properly. He would not accept payment for his trouble. We were grateful to have hot water again so quickly.

Great. Called on Sunday afternoon. Plumbers arrived on Monday morning! Al's Plumbing is a great family owned company. We have used them for large and small jobs. Always on time and thorough with the work completed.

Al is very unprofessional. He never shows up to the times he committed to. When he does show up, he's rude and frustrated if you can't see him at that moment or he has to wait. He is also very difficult to get a hold of and does not return phone calls. There were even times when he would bad talk about the boss (the guy that hired him) while working in the building. Sloppy work, bad communication, unprofessional and rude. Need I say more? We've had to hire another plumbing to come and fix his work after many phone calls to Al and no response.

Al's plumbing were responsive, they came in very short notice (less than 24 hr). They completed the job in a timely manner and left the place clean. There price is very competitive, if not lower than other service provider around the area. I would strongly recommend Al's plumbing for your jobs.

Price was amazingly low to me for a couple of hours work by Al and his assistant..

He told me my water heater was old and rusted through and needed to be replaced. He gave me the cost as soon as i asked and said they could come back and fix it in a couple of hours. 
Sure enough, they came back at 2pm with a new heater, removed my old one, laid tarp on my stairs and floors to prevent water stains, and within the hour they had installed the new one!
I'm very happy with the promptness and professionalism they displayed, and will certainly use them again, and also recommend them.

Al's Plumbing was called on an emergency basis because of ridiculous water bill received from City of Houston, almost 3 times usual bill.  They came out promptly (same afternoon) and immediately discovered the cause of the leak and replaced toilet with leak.  Charge was most reasonable.
I have used this company in the past and found them to be most reliable, honest, and reasonably priced.  Work done is exemplary. Time before this, on 11-14-2014, Al's Plumbing dug up a water line that was leaking at another location and replaced the portion of the pipe that had broken apart.  Again, price was very reasonable ($960) for the amount of work done and the quality of the work and service provided.  Plan to continue using this plumber in future.

AJ and his associate were great. On time, very polite, very neat and efficient. Very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the problems. Will certainly call again when we have a problem.
