He stated that the new disposal was functioning correctly. He diagnosed the dishwasher with a leaking motor seal and recommended replacement over repair, quoting $1,000 for a new unit installation. The Reality: Skeptical of the high quote, I consulted a plumber who, over a brief phone call, identified the likely issue: the knockout plug in the disposal hadn't been removed—a common oversight that prevents dishwasher drainage. Following his advice, I resolved the problem in five minutes at no cost. Both appliances now work perfectly. Conclusion: This experience suggests either a lack of competence or a deliberate attempt to upsell unnecessary services. The technician's failure to identify a basic installation error and the push for an expensive replacement raise serious concerns about the company's practices. Recommendation: Exercise caution when considering Strawberry Appliance Repair. Seek multiple opinions and ensure thorough diagnostics before agreeing to costly repairs or replacements.

+ -1 moreMy refrigerator quit cooling. I call Strawberry Appliance at 8:05 am and they came out at 9:15 am. He checked out what was wrong. Found out, told me what it was and what the price would be. He went and got the part and had my refrigerator cooling by 10:30. Very fast service. Was very professional. I will use them again if any of my appliances go out.
