My sink and washer sewer line stopped up on the night of the 11-11-14. I searched Angie's list and found Rex Plumbing had good reviews. It was around 6:30 to 7:30 pm when I called. I left a message for them to call the next day and set up an appointment. When they did not call. I called 11-13-14 and they said they would be out after 2:00 pm and would call me at work when they were coming. They came about 5:00 pm which was perfect for me. The young man (Allen) was great. He found out what was wrong and stared to work and had the sewer line cleaned in about 30 minutes. I will use this company again.

I called for an issue with a fitting that I had put in place that kept leaking (and I didn't know why). Preston showed up and diagnosed the situation and offered a solution right of the bat. Unfortunately the 24+ year old pipe didn't want to cooperate with being removed. After removing the pipe he replaced only what needed to be replaced and didn't try to upsell any additional service/ equipment. When the water was turned on another pipe burst and he was quick to find the leak, inspect the pipe, and then ended up replacing the whole line. Preston was very courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I hope to not need them again, but if I do, I will definitely call them for help.

Excellent. Another plumber installed my toilets appox. 3 years ago. They did not cut the bolts so that the caps would fit. Rex did without being asked to. Said flange (?) had not been properly raised for level of tile. Fixed everything quickly and efficiently.

Wonderful. Couteous. Sympathetic. Fixed it and fixed it right.

The utility sink looks great. They even took the time to drill in concrete to bolt to the floor, which I wasn't expecting. This was a most professional job. They even brought to my attention the cheap vinyl water supply hoses and offered to replace them with stainless steel, to which I agreed.
Our bathroom faucets were original equipment, so my wife and I bought upgraded faucets that we found at Lowe's. Rex Plumbing never complained about the install of purchased equipment and did a great job. We love the fact that we have new faucets with modern and quot;clickand quot; drain stoppers. Again, a great job.
They cleaned up after themselves and were careful not to track anything into the house. This particular plumber was very detail oriented and showed some initiative and problem solving skills. Have used these guys since the company was first started and not disappointed yet.

I will say that Rex Plumbing was great at responding to me via phone, and
did show for same day repair. However, I was told the service guy would
arrive around 4, and had to call him around 6 to ask if he was still
coming. Our tub wasn't draining upstairs. He showed up and snaked my
drain. He made two smart comments saying, and quot;Grossand quot; about the hair out of
the drain, which to me is unprofessional and rude. He charged me 155
dollars and was at my house for maybe 10 minutes, the majority of it
labor! He also made a comment that he wasn't charging me and quot;overtimeand quot;
since it was after hours, which I was never told was even a possibility.
This company was recommended to me by a friend and i was very
disappointed in the service I received.

I contacted 6 highly-rated plumbers after hours (~6:30 PM). Only two responded at all and Rex Plumbing was the only only who responded quickly (within 5 minutes). It's a good thing that we were able to turn off our water while we were waiting for a response. Roy Rex contacted us and assured us that his on-call plumber Brian would call us within 5 minutes. He noted that Brian was across town, but that he could be at our house in about 45 minutes (I appreciated his honesty). Brian called as promised, arrived on time, kept the wall openings to the minimum needed for the job, located the leak, repaired it, and provided temporary closeouts for the wall and ceiling. I'm very happy with their responsiveness, honesty, and quality of work. I would recommend them to anyone.

There were no surprises. Every detail was done as was explained before work was performed.

I called Rex and left a message. He called me back within the hour to schedule a time for repair. His service man was prompt, polite, and professional. He had it fixed and tested within two hours. He even suggested some preventative work without any sales pressure. When he left, I realized I had written their check from the wrong checking account. I called and they were able to hold my check until I could move funds. I have been looking for an outstanding plumber for 12 years. I know I have found the one!

If we ever need to, we will definitely use Rex Plumbing in the future. Roy is "good people". It was a pleasure working with these guys.

It went very, well, with the work done on time and at bid. They removed all old pipe and cleaned everything up after work was completed. They did forget to light the gas water heater, but returned promptly when we complained of no hot water. I have no complaints with their work.

I lost hot water flow to my faucets after a few minutes of running them and less depending on how many taps were on. I had two other plumbing companies evaluate the problem and spent a thousand dollars with different and quot;solutionsand quot;including replacing the recirculation pump, mixer valves and cleaning of the outflows to the hot water tanks, all to no avail.

Allan from Rex plumbing was actually called out by the last plumber who finally was gracious enough to scratch his head and call in an expert. Within about 30 minutes Allan made his diagnosis and had found a one-way valve that had gone bad and was bleeding cold water into the hot water system in volumes depending on the flow rate of the hot water. They returned with all the parts and even replumbed the water filter properly. I had my first hot shower in 3 months - thanks Rex!

Work progressed extremely well, we asked questions about possible alternatives in fixture selection and he advised us with some ideas... 'thinking out of the box'... we went with them and GLAD WE DID! The company is the only one we deal with now.... we live in Deer Park area.

They showed up on time. Did the work as estimated and cleaned up before they left.
