He came with an assistant that had not painted before and needed more review of his work.  I have never had a painter that does not tape at all. He was ok at edging without but not excellent.  After he was done I had to go back and cover places that did not have enought paint due to the color over white.  Many have commented as to the stairwell ledge that is nothing but brush marks.  But the worst he did, was not finish.  We agreed on a price, what I payed into Angie and 800.00 more.  Like a dope I paid him the total up when he was half done.  I should have kept some back.  We agreed on the job which included a stairwell.  He did as far as he could reach without a ladder and said he would come back and finish.  Well not only did he not come back, but would not answer the phone.    As far as I am concerned, I would never recommend using him.  I had to get someone else to finish the job and plan to get a professional to make the stairwell ledge look nice.
