The whole job went perfectly. Gary quoted me a price and stuck to it. He showed up on time with everything he needed to get the job done. If you could be in love with your garage door opener, then count me in. He recommended the Genie because of the quality of the unit and its dependability. It is wonderful. I had called multiple companies, but none of them gave me the in depth explanation like Gary did. I would recommend him and his company to anyone (residential or business). He will stand behind it 100%. He knows what he's doing and how to do it. Use him. You won't be disappointed in service, material, or the man behind it.

It was a great experience. I called him on Saturday afternoon and he came over within an hour during a thunderstorm. He explained everything to us and told us he would be at our home Monday morning. He showed up on time did the work, used high quality materials and we are very very pleased. He explained to us that he works seven days a week and we could call him anytime with any problems we had. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone.

Gary came out promptly. Took a look, figured out the problem and gave us a very fair price. He was quick about his work and the quality was definately there. Takes pride in his work being very knowlegible of his business. We highly recommend this company.

On Friday afternoon our garage door came crashing down because of broken compression spring,  (the spring on the shaft that sits above the door|.  Called Gary and told him what I thought the problem was and he said if I needed the car tonight he would come by after finishing the job he was on.  We agreed on Saturday morning and he showed up on time and he measured the spring.  He had several type springs with him but had to go across town to get the proper fitting one.  I watched him work and no doubt he knew what he was doing.  Within a few hours he had the new spring on and the door adjusted, needed because of settling of garage.  The garage door operates very smoothly.

The owner sold me a powerful, quiet garage door opener and did a fine job installing it. He had to make a second trip, because he did not have the right opener with him. My concern was that he wanted to talk politics without having any idea whether I agreed with him. This was highly unprofessional. Twice, I walked away, and he just kept talking instead of working. He complained about the economy and how it was affecting his business. I think he doesn't realize how his inappropriate conversation is what is really hurting his business!

I called him to discuss the project and we set up a time to meet at the location, I provided detailed directions. He never showed up. I called him a few days later and he said he couldn't find the place. We made new arrangements to meet at an easy to find location and he followed me to the work site. We discussed the project, various options, timing, etc. He took a few measurement, talked about the carpenter that works with him to frame up the building, etc. and he said he would get back to me with an estimate. He told me there was an adjustment on the sensor on the left side which pops open to be adjusted. I pried on it until I was fearful about working on it anymore. If I would have continued to work on the sensor, I would have torn up the sensor and had to have it replaced. I called another company to come out.

I had a busy day planned away from the house, so I was thrilled when I called at 7 and Gary arrived at 8am. He worked quickly and efficiently, and he was very friendly.

I could not get my garage open with my car inside and the emergency handle would not work. I contacted three other companies, one wanted to charge an emergency fee of $200.00 to come out after I got home from work and the others would not be able to come out until the next day. I called Gary and he was very courteous and was waiting for me when I got home. He promptly replaced the springs, made other adjustments to the garage door and programmed the opener in my car. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs their garage door serviced/repaired!
