They called to say that they could come earlier than expected. The technician was very thourough and explained each probable cause that he was investigating. Ultimately, he was able to get the heater running again by cleaning debris from inside the heater. The unit is 12 years old. He said that it was looking good for that age and did not try to sell us on new parts or systems that are not yet needed.

They come out every week. I pay $250 a month. They clean the pool, check the chlorine levels, clean out the filters and check to make sure the pumps are working properly. Right now we are going through a bad spell with them. They are quick to get back with me. Right now, it is mostly the guy who has been coming out to service. He does not always do what he is supposed to.

I have dealt with this company for over 10 years and have been their customer exclusively. Over the last year, the quality of their service has declined to a point at which it is not acceptable. This past year, they have made multiple attempts to correct the leakage of diatomaceous earth (DE) from the filter into the pool itself. However, instead of warranty repairs, they repeatedly charged me to correct what they failed to fix in the first place. In the end, they never found the root cause of the problem. I hired another company and they found a completely different problem, which they fixed on the first try. The decline in service was manifested also in a nearly continual change of service men. We would get used to one person, and he would be gone in a period of months – or weeks. It was nearly impossible to set up a consistent schedule. Often I would have to clean parts of the pool that the service men did not clean. I fired this entity recently. On doing so, I received a response of “ok”. You’d think that the proprietor of an establishment that I’ve paid nearly $200/month for 10 years would have made some effort to retain me as a customer. He did not. I would not recommend Miller Pools to anyone under any circumstances.

"As the owner of Miller Pools I have to supervise every remodel job we do. I am also the only one in my company that does the bidding on remodels. In an effort to get proposals to customers in a timely manner I have to ask for basic information and then get the bids based on that information. Once the customer reviews my bid and is ready to more forward with more information we then will schedule a time to visit the pool. With an average of 5-10 clients requesting Free Estimates a week I simply do not have the hours in a day to visit each site. Many customers appreciate the attention to detail Miller Pools provides. I am sorry we did not get an opportunity to provide you with a bid."

Did the work fine. Didn't seem interested in helping with clearing the pool up so my end result would be accomplished.end result=having a working pool.

We did give you a price to clean up your green pool after we made the filter repair but you told the service tech you did not want us to do that work you would take care of it yourself. My tech tried to help out by adding over 10 lbs. of chlorine shock to your pool to start the clean up at No Charge to you. Sorry if there was any confusion We are still available to do a clean up of your pool if you would like."

Because my previous provider became very unreliable, I had neglected annual maintenance on the filters for my DE in-ground pool.  That neglect led to the DE material eventually blowing back into my pool.  Johnny at Miller Pools gave me great free advice by phone on removing the DE and promptly scheduled a service call.  Armando arrived on time and efficiently located and corrected the problem.  He was friendly, patient, and generously answered my questions about his service and provided excellent advice for improving ongoing pool cleaning and general maintenance, which I perform.





I was very pleased with the service I received from Miller Pools and Armando in particular.  I have recommended them to my neighbors and will use Miller in the future when I need expert assistance.

.I got several bids on the filter, and Miller was the highest, but because of recommendations from others, we decided to go with Miller.  After a really ROCKY start we finally got the filter installed and pool cleaned.  It is probably best to start talking with Johnny and ask to speak with him all the time. Less confusion when dealing with one person. Your chances of speaking with Mr Miller himself are not really good.  Just stick with one person, Johnny. Time will tell if I use them again.
