Great Vista Tile

Victor Aguirre owner of Great Vista Tile was referred to me by a plumber on Angie's List who I had used.  Victor had just finished tiling the plumber's entire master bath.  Since I was so happy with the plumber I figured I would be happy with Victor.  I was right.  In fact, I was elated with Victor.  I already had 2 flooring contractors in my home who I had not been happy with their estimates and/or their lack of responsiveness and lack of professionalism.  Victor immediately answered my call and came out the next day to take measurements.  He had me go to a tile company that he uses to select my tile.  He also said I could select from Home Depot or Lowe's if I preferred. He gives a discount on the tile if you use the tile company.. He was in the middle of a big commercial job at South Shore Harbour in League City so it was going to be a couple of weeks before he could schedule my work.  Because of the fact that he was doing commercial work, as well as, tiling for a successful plumber made me even more sure of my decision to go with him.  I felt he was worth the 2 week wait and he definitely was.  Victor works with one partner.  He showed up on time each day between 9 - 9:30 am.  They worked straight through to 6:00 daily with one hour for lunch.  Both of them were extremely polite, well mannered, and quiet.  They cleaned up every day before they left.  My walls were left perfect.  Not a mark on any of them.  Victor is very knowledge about what is popular in tile right now and what is being installed in homes today.  If you ask for his advice, he will happily make suggestions and assist you.  I was also very happy with the way he conducts the financial side.   He ordered the tile I selected without asking for a dime from me.  I didn't pay him until the end of his first full day of work at which time I paid him only for the tile,$523.21.  I paid for the labor,$1360, after they had completed the job.  He gives a written estimate and written receipts.  They started at 9:00 am on Monday and finished Thursday afternoon.  I do want to mention if you have to leave a message on his voice mail that his voice message is completely in Spanish only.  However, his English is perfect.  So while his voice message was only in Spanish, I left my message in only English.  I don't speak Spanish.  However, I had absolutely no problem communicating with him verbally or in writing.  I plan on using him for laminate work later in the summer.  And, then for tiling my master bath.  I am so happy with this young man and his partner that I doubt that I will even bother with any other estimates.  Oh, I forgot to mention how the tile came out.  It is absolutely beautiful. They did an amazing job.  Their work is perfect!!!!
