Cother Air Conditioning & Heating

I've used Cother for years for everything from a new unit install, through checkups and repairs. Last night we had issues with the condensation drain in one of our units. Since they are located in the attic and drain problems have a way of leaking through the ceiling, we shut it down last night. We were dreading on how long Cother would take to come fix the problem given this is the busy time of the year. We called promptly when they opened at 8, someone was here by 9:30 and the problem was resolved by 10. Good, prompt service has been our experience with them every time we have used them.

They did an excellent job and were very reasonable with the pricing for replacing my a/c unit. I was very comfortable with them and received excellent service. I would recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

They have been very responsive and they do very good work. I would highly recommend them.

It was warranty work. The company that was making the air conditioning stopped making the compressors. The company sold the warranty obligation to another company, and the money run out. I ended up having to pay $400. They still took care of the business very quickly. When I had a problem they came very quickly and fixed it.

They are not that far away from me. I am very happy with the system they recommended to me. I wanted to use something else but they recommended a particular system that doesn't exist anymore, but I am very happy with what they did. At the time I compared the price to several others. There were a few problems, but they came to take care of it. I am happy with them.

We usually use them once a year for tune ups. They have installed 2 complete new air conditioning when we needed them. We have used them for years. We are happy with them.

We had 2 sets of gas furnace/AC and 1 electric heater and AC installed through Cothers on different occasions last year. The crews have always been polite and would clean up after work. We really felt like they respect our home and we appreciated that very much. With the most recent storm, we found some leaking around the AC/heater vent pipe. We called Cothers about it and they sent their crew the next day to troubleshoot the issue as it may have been related to the installation. We would definitely recommend Cothers for their reliability and responsiveness.

Extremely satisfied with service!! House started heating up and I walked outside to see that my outside unit was not running. I called Cother's since I just happened to drive by their location earlier in the day. I called at 5:15pm and by 5:45 a tech was at my house, diagnosed the problem, repaired it! He was gone by 6:15!! Very honest

Work was completed in a very professional manner. All work completed in the timeframe as discussed. We have used Cother for all our heating and cooling needs for many years and have been very happy with their company.

They completed the work on schedule, and cleaned up the site when they were finished.  The technicians were very professional, and made sure that we were completely satisfied before they left.  They quoted the best price up front.  I have since recommended them to a friend.

I had been using the same air conditioning/heating company for over 15 years and had them out several times regarding condensation dripping from the duct work and damaging the sheet rock ceilings in my home.  The technicians would come out and say they had repaired the insulation on the ducts.  The problem continued until there was actually a 9 inch hole in the hallway ceiling.  This time my old air conditioning company's technician told be that I needed all new duct work, new coils and more than likely a new heating unit.  It struck me as odd that all of a sudden they were recommending over $4,800 of work be done.  So, I decided to get a second opinion.  I found Cother, Inc. on Angie's List.  Their technician came out and said that I definitely needed to replace the old duct work which appeared to be the original that was install when the house was built.  He explained that the insulation and tape connecting the duct work sections had deteriorated over time causing the condensation to leak onto my ceilings.  He said my coils and heating unit were fine and did not need to be replaced at this time.  Hmm.... 
I was very pleased with the work done by Cother, Inc.  The technicians were punctual.  All three were professional and polite. They were very careful with my home, placed drop clothes from my door through the family room and hallway where the attic hatch is located.  They removed and disposed of the old duct work and replaced it with new.  The final bill was exactly what their estimate had been to the penny.   $2,800 for all of the duct work to be replaced.  
The City of Pasadena sent an inspector out to verify that the duct work was installed and secured properly.  Absolutely no problems with the inspection.
I have since signed a maintenance/protection plan for my air conditioning and heating system with Cother.  I felt that I was treated with more respect and honesty that my previous provider.  I don't mind having to spend money for repairs at my home as long as they are truly necessary.  Buy the additional $2,000 of unnecessary  repairs quoted by my previous a/c provider would have really put me in a bind financially.  Treating customers with honesty is a big plus and I appreciate that treatment from Cother.

We fired up the furnace 11/22/2015 and it worked fine.
