Every time I go into Lamar Vet Clinic I am greeted with a smile! They are truly friendly and genuinely concerned for your pets. They are about the nicest ladies at the front and the Doctors are awesome! Dr. Ables and Nottingham are compassionate and friendly while taking care of your pets.

It is not the care of small animals that this review is about...it is about being told that these vets-or any vet in Lamar Co. no longer make farm calls, even in emergencies for large animals. I do not understand because there are horse and cattle farms all over this rural county.

The doctor was super great. He would listen to me described how my pup acted and the history I knew. He was thourough and very friendly with my pet. I did have to wait a while to get in to see the doctor. Besides that, I have no complaints. I will definitely go back. I think if you are a regular, they are a little bit faster tor respond?

I have used them for about 30 years. They have neutered dogs for me. I have had a lot of dogs. One of my dogs had a tick disease. He got a disease from tick biting. It was in his blood and his nose was bleeding. They diagnosed it right away. They kept him for 3 or 4 days. They had to put antibiotics through an IV. They took excellent care of him and they saved him. A lot of dogs die from that. I think their price is in line with everybody else. The quality of work is excellent. They respond right away. You need to do appointments now. They used to get a lot of walk-ins. They got so many walk-ins that they had to go to appointments. They are very professional. They are very friendly and down to earth people. I really like the staff in there. They are top notch in my experience.
