We had already taken this vehicle to two other mechanics and it still would not run right. Carroll's said it was the ignition module, so I asked the cost of that and they said it was 250.00. I called the auto parts and their cost was 153.00. I called Carrolls back and asked why was the cost so high on the part, I was told that they warranty their work and if I purchase the part myself they would not warranty the work. I told them I would pick up the truck and to leave the old module on it. So if you want to pay for parts and labor in advance, just in case you have to take it back, then go to Carroll's. I think that 296.00 was way above what the cost should have been to diagnose the problem, since the next shop I went to charged 86.00 to diagnose the problem and 156.00 for the part.

Excellent experience in getting my 2005 GMC 2500HD repaired. Spoke to Danny on a Friday about 11:00 am, he told me to bring it in and they would diagnose the problem and call me back with an estimate. Danny did in fact call me about an hour after I took the truck in. He informed me of the problem, which I already suspected, the cost and asked what I wanted to do. I okayed the repair. I originally told Danny that I could pick the truck up on Monday but due to some personal issues it turned out that I would need my truck as soon as I could get it. Danny went above and beyond when he told me that he and the mechanic would come in early Saturday morning to finish my truck and get it back to me, they are normally closed on Saturdays, where else can you get service like that????? In fact Danny called me Saturday morning at 0900 and told me the truck was ready. I will definitely use and recommend Carroll's Automotive. Very pleasant to deal with.

DIAGNOSED PROBLEM , STATED PARTS NOT AVAILABLE LOCALLY , QUOTED 632 PLUS TAX , SAID 500 FOR PARTS , I GOT PARTS QUOTE LOCALLY 300 , WHEN CONFRONTED OWNER BECAME CONFRONTATIONAL AND BLAMED THE PARTS SUPPLIER , I TOLD HIM I HAD ORDERED THE PARTS ON E-BAY ,150 DELVERED , WE HAD PURCHASED TIRES AT THIS DEALER AND HAD A POSITIVE TRANSACTION , THEN THIS ISSUE , I WAS HAPPY TO GET OUT OF THERE , BE CAREFUL WITH THIS SMOOTHY
