JRS Builders Inc

Purchased the home from JRS Builders and there are no codes in Texas. Money was tight so we did not get a home inspection before buying the home (our mistake). However after being in the home a few months we found cracked tile in both bathrooms, the tile in the shower in our spare bathroom was not sealed so it was unusable, the seal between the countertop in the kitchen and the wall was cracking, the concrete drive way started to crack, electrical outlets were loose, deck on the front was sinking, door jams were uneven and the a/c unit was not working properly. The dishwasher and waterheater we believe was used as well.

In the middle of the summer our a/c stopped working and we attempted to contact builder because he did not provide us with service providers information. When he did not get back with us we contacted another a/c contractor to fix our a/c (unit was leaking and not fully charged) and it cost us $650. Builder got in contact and only paid us for half of the cost due to us not using HIS contractor.

I contacted a home inspector who did the inspection before our home warranty was expired.  Builder came out and fixed most of the issues however he was going out of business and had no help so my husband ended up doing tile work himself due to the poor workmanship of builder. We also have a loud cracking noise in our attic that he cannot find or fix what is causing it and as of this date it has not been fixed.
