Rocky (my dog) hasn't eaten in 3 days and has liquid bowel movements. I changed his food and did not do it the way it should have been done (gradually). He's 11-12 yrs. old Lab and I should have known it would have been h****** him. There was only one vet in the office the other 2 were gone for the day. I had an appointment for 10:45a.m. When I walked into the lobby,it was very crowded and one of the receptionist said it would be over an hour. I left. Called in the afternoon and the receptionist said if I got there quickly, there would probably be only one person ahead of me. I was called into the exam room and waited and waited
about 20 minutes. It was hot in the exam room. I opened the door to the room to let some air in and keep Rocky from being so anxious. Finally, after waiting some more I was getting fed up. I stuck my head in the back hallway and asked when the Vet was coming in. There were 3 assistants and the Vet, who said;" I'll be there in just a second."
Finally, she arrived. I told her, "I thought it was rude that we pay you and we are kept waiting for an indecent amount of time." "You professionals think we don't have anything else to do besides wait for you." Then she went on about how she was the only one there and it only happens like 3 times a year. "You were told when you called, there would only be one Vet."
After talking to her about Rocky she said we had a couple ways to go and we could run blood tests for a $100.00 to check his liver and and other things. I told her it doesn't cost that much to run blood test for animals. I believe you people over charge for those things. She stated that was a matter of opinion. I said I just had blood tests and it only cost $19.00. She said I am not a people doctor, so I don't know.
I do not want to listen to her excuses. I asked for something for his appetite, she also gave me
medicine for his watery stools and antibiotics. I was so fed up when I finished I told one of the girls at the front desk, "I don't think I'll be coming back any more." She apologized. I said they do not inspire confidence. I do not trust them and I do not like to be kept waiting. I believe these veterinarians are low quality, C- and below. This is not the first time I have been kept waiting and not my first time seeing this female vet. As for the other brother (Foskey) I believe he is the younger one with braces does not come across as knowledgeable or inspiring. I have been going to this office for awhile and I am not impressed. I have worked for Vets for a good portion of my life and I've never been so down on Vets.
Yes, I was upset about my dog and this compounded it. I am no moron and I do not expect to be treated like one. I believe it shows disrespect when you keep someone waiting. People are concerned and upset about their animals and Vets need to keep this in mind. This is not about me being kept waiting although it seems to sound that way.
I am not asking for resolution. I want the Vets and customers to know this is not good business. Do not be afraid to let them know how you feel.

Their office is really good. Their price is reasonable. I go there to get medication for my dogs. For me to get high quality flea and tick prevention for three of my dogs was about $60. They are very personable and they treat your animals well, almost like it is a child. They are very caring. I would recommend them to friends and family members.

We had a dog that developed kind of a canine-type leukemia. That's not what it was called. They went to extraordinary measures to try to save the animal but unfortunately they couldn't; but it wasn't because they didn't try. They called us and kept us informed and also let us come over the weekend to stay with our pet especially when we knew there wasn't going to be any hope. They made a horrible experience as easy to deal with as anybody could. I will use them again in the future.
