TEXAS ROOF SYSTEMS

Once the job was performed, the owner of Texas Roof Systems didn't come by to inspect the work his employees performed. I had 3 issues initially, ranging from a huge leak a few months later. My ceiling in my upstairs bedroom fell through in the bay window area. It took them approx. 3 weeks to complete this repair. Shortly after the job was complete, I was doing yard work in my front yard and while weed eating, one of their roofing nails shattered my front glass door. I called them & they told me there was no way a roofing nail could have shattered the glass door. I reminded them that this could certainly happen when the momentum of the weed eater came in contact with the nail. They fixed it after about 10 days and the same incident happened the following week. They replaced it a second time and finally went over my small lawn to pick up further nails. I have been smelling a musty smell for sometime (1 yr), and have had leak detectors, plumbers, etc. come to inspect my home for any leaks that could be causing this smell. No one could find a problem. In December 2010 I had a tree trimmer come and at this time he informed me I had a soft spot of about 2 ft. on the north firewall area. My insurance adjustor came out and confirmed that Texas Roof System shingled over the flashing which has resulted in my decking rotting out. I contacted the owner of Texas Roof on January 18, 2012, and he came out & looked at the roof and informed me he would only charge me $300 to $500 to fix this issue. I have called him 4 times since as he gives me excuses of not being able to get the material, etc. He has quit taking my calls and I have had Nicholas Roofing come give me a bid to fix Texas Roof's work. They gave me a bid of $700.00 and will fix this as soon as I call them to do so. I feel Texas Roof should fix this at no charge, but frankly cannot trust their work or anything I am told.

They came to our house on time and started the job of ripping off old shingles and replaceing them with new ones. They ended the day and was back the next day to finish. Very nice men. I noticed in the living room on the floor and furniture there was white stuff from my ceiling. So i looked at the sky lights and noticed both had huge cracks now it them. I got ahold of the owner and he rushed over to see. He said he would order new sky lights and would have them put in and told us sorry. I was very happy they were going to replace what they had broke. A week later we called and he said he had them in his office and would get one of his men to come by and put them in. Well thats been 8 months ago and he will not answer our calls . The one time i called from a different number, as soon as i told him my name ,he asked if he could put me on hold, had another call ,well he he hung up . We have lefted messeges and he will no return our calls. We just want what they broke fixed.

I had terrible mold and mildew growing on the roof of my house. I called this company for them to come out and clean it, and that entire experience went so smoothly. I have his phone number on my refridgerator; I plan to continue using his services when needed. He was wonderful, very professional, and his prices were reasonable. After the work was done, he cleaned up nicely; hauled away all the pine needles and debris that he cleaned off from my roof instead of just throwing it into my landscaping. The quality of the work he did was excellent. He reminded me a few months ago that I need work done again, which I think was nice. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who?s thinking about getting any roof cleaning done.
