See above. Poor paint job, used cheap paint instead of what was agreed upon and per estimate, did not prep and/or sand before painting. Did not caulk as per estimate, and did not complete job after asking my husband for the full amount due to a supposed family emergency. He promised after swearing by God that he would complete the job to our satisfaction. Terrible job, liar, and CON ARTIST. I am not exaggerating by any means. Do NOT USE GEORGE REID PAINTING if you want the job to be done right and completed. He also left a terrible mess in our front and back yard. We are having this job redone so we are having to buy the Behr Premiere paint and so far have spent $400.00 on the paint alone. Of course we are having to pay the painters we have now. What a total disaster,
Description of Work: What he actually finished is having to be redone. We only use Premium Behr Paint and he was told that in the beginning and agreed per contract. When he began the trim color, I noticed that it was not Behr paint. When I approached him about the holes, nails, and what needed to be sanded and redone, he agreed and promised everything would be fixed to my satisfaction. Without my knowledge, he requested the full amount and was paid. We have never seen him again. He will not answer my texts or phone calls. Hr had actually gained our trust until the day I noticed the cheap paint and looked at the cans that he had removed the labels. We are now having to start over with new painters that are getting paid $10.00 per hour on a daily basis until the job is finished to our satisfaction and then will be paid in full.
