Daniel Lozano Masonry

I am pleased with Daniel's work. He was quick to respond and punctual, appearing at the promised time. His work is neat and he cleaned up the site when done. He took me around the house and showed me all the repairs which were done as I had requested. His crew was professional and respectful.

I was tired of dealing with my contractor who was dragging his feet on every aspect of building my new office and add-on storage building to our garage, so I decided to hire some people on my own to finish the two buildings, which only needed brick work to be nearly complete. I found Daniel on Angie’s List and left him a message, along with three other mason businesses. He got back to me right away, came over that evening, and had an estimate for me the next day. The estimate sounded good, but I told him the brick was ordered and wouldn’t get here for another two weeks, so we agreed to start when it came in. Surprisingly the brick came in a week early, and Daniel didn’t waste any time- he started a week earlier on Saturday and didn’t stop until everything was finished! His crew was very polite and courteous, and they kept the area as clean as possible- a great change from some other crews that have been on the site who would leave trash everywhere in my backyard. I was floored at how amazing the job turned out. It is absolutely beautiful, and they did some extremely fine detail work. I honestly couldn’t be happier. I’m already planning some brickwork in another area of our yard and I will 100% hire Daniel again to do the job. In summary: Daniel was great, his crew was fantastic, the level of quality I got was amazing, and I can’t wait to work with them again because I know they’ll do a great job! I cannot recommend him enough.

A pickup lost control and ended up in our backyard taking out our fence, sliding gate and storage.   We had called several construction companies whom wanted to charge well into the thousands for the job which consisted of tearing down our crushed storage, removing what fence we had left and hauling off all of the debris.  They would show up or not and would give us estimates and then never show up again.  It was extremely frustrating.  
After about 2 months of dealing with other contractors I came across Mr. Lozano's number and info here in Angie's List.  I called and set up an appointment with Mr. Lozano to give me an estimate on tearing down our storage and fence and rebuilding the fence.  He showed up on the day and time we had scheduled.  The estimate was more than reasonable and he did exactly what he said he would do.  We did have a few discussions which were not written down and after reminding him of these things he still stood good for them.   Which is usually not the case with contractors. I cannot say enough good about Daniel or his team.  They were all extremely courteous, very professional and very helpful.  They gained my trust and my thanks for a job well done and done on time even though the weather cost them a few days work.   Also, my fence is way prettier than before.  I just stood back and let them do what they do best and am absolutely thrilled with their work and work ethic.  Thank you again Mr. Lozano, Dan'L Construction,  you saved my sanity.
  

 I had called several brick layers to get estimates. I found that most of them acted either rude or like they just did not have time to answer their phone or return phone calls. I had two brick layers that would come to my house to give an estimate, but would never really give me a written estimate. After I insisted for a written estimate, they said that they would bring it to me, then I never heard from either of them again.







I called one well known brick layer who just told me to measure my fence and multiply that number by $90.00 per running foot, then hung up on me. I was not going to call him back.







One brick layer that wanted $43,000 to build me a fence. I will keep that estimate in a frame. He thought I was rich & stupid.







I did get three estimates that were all in the same ball park figure, but only one of these three was quick to answer his phone or return phone calls and politely answer my questions, and that was Daniel Lozano.







Daniel and his crew did an awesome job. Everyone in his crew actually seemed to enjoy their job and respected my home and privacy. Daniel and his crew made sure construction was within City Code and within survey markers.







As with any construction there will be a mess. This crew made sure my property as well as my neighbors property was clean before they left.







They even tolerated my lousy neighbor that lived in the rent house next door. (That is a story in itself)
