AFFORDABLE MOVERS

The owner Clayton should be making license plates in prison and not stealing from people with his moving company. He is a liar and a thief. He provided a quote and said he would be at my house in-person on the specific date. He was not there but three of his guys were... they worked hard and got the job done. After they were finished they gave me an invoice for $922 more than the quote. Long story short - if I didn't pay the invoice his guys weren't going to get paid, so I paid. Clay is a slimeball!!!

My only negative is they showed up to an a half hours late. Other than that, everything was great. Their packing skill was amazing and absolutely nothing was broken or damaged.

The movers showed up promptly at 9am - a team of 4 guys- to move our entire house (3bd, 2 bath) to our new house in Midland (in-town move). They were polite, helpful and wanted to do whatever we wanted. They were fast and didn't break one single item. They also took extreme care of my fragile boxes as well as doorways and doorframes as not to damage anything. I felt comfortable around all 4 of the men and would highly recommend them- we would most definitely use them again. One of the guys' names was Alex Soto- and he was really great. They were completely finished by about 3 pm.

Very helpful and willing to do whatever we asked. They worked hard, without a break to stay within time limits. Israel and his team were very professional.

The experience was very good. They're fast.

Took too long to move my furniture and broke many glass items! Lead driver smelled like alcohol looked like he had a hangover.

Their name suits them--they are indeed "Affordable Movers."  The move was quite successful.  I would recommend them to my friends and family.  They were extremely polite and very helpful.

It was wonderful. They were easy to talk to, they listen and they are cooperative. They're a mover so they came in, assessed everything needed to be done, they gave us a flat price and that was exactly what we paid once we were done. That included them assembling our furniture and moving.

The experience was perfect in every way!!!

I left a message on a Monday morning, received a call back within the hour.  Unfortunately I had very short notice to move and they were able and very willing to accommodate our request.  The crew of 4 showed up, starting disassembling our large furniture, appliances and loading boxes.  My husband called after about an hour and said they are nearly done!  I showed up, and he was a bit optimistic, but they had accomplished a great deal in a short time.  They took great care in securing doors and wrapping large pieces of furniture before they loaded into their truck.  Our belongings filled their sizable truck.  Upon arriving at our new home, they unloaded - again with great care - our belongings and were certain to get items placed where we wanted them.  One tower of our entertainment center had a couple of scratches but before they left, touch up was done to where there is no sign of them now.   We were extremely pleased with the service we received.
But the best part came 3 days later.  The sale of our home appeared to have cratered, and we had already moved into the new home.  On a Saturday, my husband and I were working very hard to move things out of the house that was not ours.  We realized we had our limitations, so I called and left another message asking if there was ANY WAY POSSIBLE they could come back on Monday to move us again.  On a weekend evening I got a call back telling me they would find a way to work us in.  They were going to come to our rescue!  Thankfully, our transaction was salvaged and we did not need their services again but the fact that they were going to take care of us, again on short notice, was fantastic.  If we ever need movers again, Affordable Movers is the company to call!
