It seems the local franchise we used lacked any form of quality control. Other franchise units may operate differently.
"The [member name removed]'s were weekly cleaning customers for over two years (February 2010 through May 2012 when they started remodeling). That is 94 cleanings. During that time, they reported 1 minor quality issue (in March of 2012) to the office. After their post construction cleaning, [member name removed] did not tell us that he was dissatisfied with the cleaning. This is an issue that we would have addressed with them had we been notified that they were dissatisfied. They terminated the service without telling us they were dissatisfied with the post construction cleaning. We are not perfect. We offer good quality cleaning at a reasonable price. When we make a mistake, we will fix it - but you have to let us know. I disagree with his assessment that we have no quality control. I have a Customer Service Manager who does quality inspections every day. I also perform quality inspections on our teams. We cleaned their home 94 times with one reported issue. I feel that is a pretty good record. If they were consistently unhappy with the cleaning, we would have resolved that issue if we had known about it. However, they had us come back to clean again after their remodel instead of looking for a different service. If they were unhappy ongoing, I am surprised they called us to resume their cleaning service after their remodeling. I am sorry we did not know they were unhappy with their post construction cleaning but we would have worked with them if they had let us know. We strive to provide good quality all the time and we work to fix our issues when a customer makes us aware that they are dissatisfied with a clean."
"The customer is correct. We do not clean outdoor rooms. This means we do not clean garages, screen porches, or in this case a sunroom that is effectively a screened porch since it has no heat or air conditioning and the windows are open which effectively creates an outdoor area with a roof. I apologize that I did not realize on the in home estimate that this room was not an inside room. It is an outdoor porch that is glassed in. We tried to accommodate her desire by agreeing to offer basic cleaning in this outdoor sunroom if the temperature was reasonable (in spite of our policy of indoor cleaning only). However, she wanted this room to be cleaned at the same level of detail as her family room. I explained that it is not possible to keep an outdoor room detailed like an indoor room but this was a deal breaker for her."
