"Thank you for being a client of Texas Air Doctors. I've always been influenced by the quote from Benjamin Franklin that, "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." We've all experienced that product or service that failed to do what we anticipated. Our objective is to always provide the best product and service, at a reasonable price."
"Thank you, [Member Name Removed]. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to serving you again in the future."

"During the last 17-Years, we've had three occasions that we used our "No Lemon" policy. It is our opinion that we should address a failure in the same fashion that we'd want if we we in the customers place. We call it the "Golden Rule" Clause on all installations and service procedures. Thank you for taking the time to make this review, thank you for your business. Frank"

"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. We make it a habit to offer a Free Gas Leak Check on all of the gas appliances in a persons home. National statistics indicate that 1 out of 6 homes has a gas leak, but I think that is an optimistic number. I believe the actual number to be much, much higher. The only ones that are reported to the authorities are those that have extensive damage or those that cause injury. We don't want any of our customers being victims and gas leaks don't get better.Thank you for your business. Thanks you for your review. Frank"
"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. We have determined that the most important thing that a homeowner desires is that we respect their home. Of course, they do want us to be able to adequately service whatever they called us for but if we don't respect and take care of their home, they won't use us again. Thank you for taking time to write this review and thank you for your business. Frank"
"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. We appreciate your business and your wonderful review. When we get such compliments from a long time customer it is very satisfyinb that they took the time out of their day to place write it. Thanks again, Frank"
"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. Fireplaces are an appliance with a multitude of mysterious ailments. I'm glad that we could be of assistance. Frank"
"[Removed member name], Thank you for you review. We appreciate you business. Frank"
"I'm sorry you were disappointed in our service. I feel that I should explain why the drain lines should not be "Blown Out." We belong to many industry association (ACCA, Nexstar, Service Roundtable, etc.) and in discussing the topic of condensate wast line failures, there is a high occurance of pipes breaking inside the walls and flooding the home when air presssure is used. Considering that the average 4-ton air conditioner will produce up to 25-gallons of water during a typical Summer day, it is a fools folly to "Blow" the lines and most responsible contractors find another, less damaging wasy to clear the pipes. As far as the other items he described to you, those are easy to prove or disprove by accessing the manufacturers specifications for amp draw, voltage, etc. If you have any other questions about this service please call. Frank"
"I've been trying for several days to figure out how to answer this review. The customer claims that he paid "over $545" for a condenser fan motor. That is not true. It appears that the customer was mistaken as he only paid $476. And that $476 included not only the Condenser Fan Motor but 1-pound of Freon and and the service call fee. The system failed again 5-days later with a bad compressor. I am truly sorry, but mechanical equipment fails. Particularly when it's old. We offered to credit the amount the customer spent on the repairs toward a new system if he wished to do that, but he elected to buy window units. We even offered 0% Interest and up to 60-months to pay through our financing bank. P.S. A condenser was not an option due to the age. All of the system had to be replaced."
"Dear [Member Name Removed], Angie’s List Review After reading your review on Angie’s List, I apologize for our inability to satisfy you and have reviewed your file. Please take the time to allow me to respond. Preventative Maintenance Our duty during a Preventative Maintenance inspection is to make a complete evaluation of the equipment and bring you up to date on your equipment based on the manufacturers’ specifications and the Local Building Codes. Failure to do so puts us at risk and we could be liable if you have a failure. For example: a single air conditioning system will condense from the air and drain to sanitary plumbing over 20-gallons of water per day. You have 3 systems for a total of 60 gallons per day. If we failed to recommend a ceiling saver and the drains failed we would be liable for all of the damage. Also, if we did not recommend a repair and it became an issue, at best, you’d be mad at us. It is always your choice to make the repair or not. We just give you the options. Age of Your Systems It appears, according to the serial numbers, that your systems are from 92 (2) & 93 (1) so they are 22 and 23 Years old. Insurance company actuarial tables indicate that the average air conditioning system lasts 12-years; therefore, these systems are equivalent to a 150 year-old man. Prior Owners Since we performed the maintenance for the previous owners ([Member Name Removed]) I believe our preventative maintenance was instrumental in making these systems last as long as they have. Record of Service Visits 1. August 8, 2014 Service performed for total of $1010. a. Mustang Club Gold Membership 3 Systems for 1 year $480 Replaced 2 Voltage Regulators $530 2. Nov 21, 2014 Heating system tune up on 3 furnaces $0 a. Customer was informed that although the gas supply is grandfathered under the old code, the new gas code requires some changes but it is up to the customer to make the decision. b. Customer was informed that there is no ceiling savers on the systems. c. Customer declined both suggestions. d. Customer was given filter code and contact information for Filter Fetch to order filters. 3. May 15, 2015 3 System Mustang Club Cooling Tune Up $0 a. Technician found a motor “over amping” which means that it was drawing electrical amperage over and above the manufacturers specifications. This is a sign of potential failure and we always recommend that it be changed as a preemptive measure to prevent an inconvenient failure. (Midnight on the 4th of July with guests for example.) b. Tech also found that the voltage regulator on the third unit (the other two were changed 8/8/14 above) did not meet manufacturer’s specifications and recommended it be changed. (One sign of a failing voltage regulator is when your interior lights may dim when that air conditioner comes on) c. Tech also recommended Compressor Savers on two units. (Older systems, need the help to get the compressor to start up.) See http://www.five-two-one.com/ and watch the simple video explanation on the compressor saver. d. Tech also recommended that the condenser fan motor be changed because it is not rotating freely (sticking). This is a sign of dry motor bearings, which indicates potential failure. e. You authorized and we installed 2 hard start kits (Compressor Savers) $448.50 4. June 9, 2015 Technician said: “Last time we were out pvc pipe was open on the end and cold air is blowing out forming condensation, which was leaking onto the floor of the attic.” Repair appointment was scheduled for June 16, 2015 which was canceled by customer. I must empathize that we would never intentionally do anything detrimental to your equipment. Hopefully this will meet with your approval and you’ll realize that we are doing like all businesses today and covering our assets. Sincerely, Frank Gossett"
"[Member Name Removed], I'm sorry that the technician failed to adequately explain the failure of you air conditioner. He is normally very concise in his explanations and most of our customers love him, requesting him by name when they call to schedule service. Perhaps, if you'll allow me, I will try to explain what must have been missed that day: Your indoor unit, where this failure occurred, uses two levels of electricity - 120 Volts and 24 Volts, but all of the electricity comes into the unit at 120 Volts. A device to change the electrical voltage from 120 V to 24 V and distribute it to the proper locations in the machine, was broken. It had to be replaced in order to get electricity to where it needed to be and at the right voltage. Until it was replaced, no other diagnostics could be performed because the air conditioning system wouldn't work. The technician's recommendation was to change that part. Since it was after 5 and the part wasn't available because supply houses were closed, it was suggested that we return the following morning and replace it. Once replaced we could then complete the diagnostic process and determine it it was a one time occurrence or if it was likely to happen again. You were given a price of $408. I can only assume the is what you refer to in you review as, "an unneeded tune-up for $450." Our Tune-up was on Special at that time for only $49. You elected not to do the repair. Please let me know if more explanation is needed or if I can be of further assistance. Frank"

"Thank you [member name removed]. Your technician, Mike, has a lot of experience with fireplaces . . . and dogs. I'm glad he was able to get you up and running. Frank"
